Welcome Miss Moneypenny - I think the more you post on here, the more motivational it is. You've already taken the big step of doing Week 1 Run 1 so the rest is plain sailing from here :D;)

I'm going to hold you to that "plain sailing":D

I had to take two days rest after my run (Week 1, Run 1): not because of the running, but because of all that stretching afterwards:eek: I had followed the "stretches for runners" on coolrunning and it nearly killed me:o How important is the stretching? Can I miss it out?
RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

Okay... I shall do my run Thursday if I've not had too awful a day at work (I work for an auction company, tomorrow is auction day so the day after tends to be a bit mad too). If it's been an awful work day then it'll be Friday....

So by Friday... I'll have run 20 minutes... hopefully

Oh no, I can't be testing the water

  • Thanks to those who put about their run today. I didn't want to run tonight and looked for an excuse: I'm tired, is that a pain I feel in my leg:D Then I read this thread and you [STRIKE]shamed[/STRIKE] motivated me into running. So a big thanks from me as I felt really great when I got home.

BTW, Aldi have running socks for £2.49. The sort that have padding, so they are labeled L and R.
