    Wow well done everyone!:j

I did my week 3 run 1 this morning .....I actually found it easier than my last week 2 run :D (maybe it was the extra day off over weekend?lol) I have been dreading running for 3 minutes all weekend but now I have done it I am really pleased with myself:T
Took my step counter and it measured 2.15km not including the 5 minute walk home- after finishing my cool down walk! I have no idea if this is what it should be or not? Thats 1.3359480633103 miles:rotfl:!
...as 5k is 3.1068559611867 miles I suppose its not bad in 3 weeks from nothing:)

    Hello

Can I pop in 'again' I joined you all at the start of the year but was sadly struck down (litterally) with repeated chest infections ect..... well I am now finally feeling better so am having a go at the c25k.

I have the podcast and am having a go but because i have been so poorly for so long have decided to do the first week twice and take slow. I have done it four times - five tomorrow and was shocked at how it is getting easier everytime when i went out yesterday morning (at 8am - am never up dressed and out at this time on the weekend other than for the next sale:rotfl:) and was surprised when the 60 secs are up and when I did the curcuit around a local lake and park it took exactly the 31 mins but yesterday I finished the lap and still had some of the program left so must be getting quicker.

Think I will do week 2 tomorrow

so far am really enjoying myself x x

    Hi all.

May I join you? I'm just starting to run again as I am in Race for Life in July. I was going to just walk/run the 5k, but as my sister has now signed up for the race, that has upped the ante.

I'll be doing my second 60 seconds run, walk 90 seconds, tonight for 20 minutes.

    Thanks for the welcome.

I'm hoping that I will find the thread motivational too:D I was just reading it, but if I now have to post what I have done, then that will make me get out running every other day.

For the new runners, welcome :) I find it really good to post up my intention of going for a run. That way I feel I'm 'answerable' to someone. however ridiculous that might seem, the thought of coming back and posting that I couldn't get my lazy a**e out of bed shames me into going out :)

And in that spirit, I am committing to doing my first full 5k run on Thursday morning. I have to leave DH to the airport anyway so I will be up and I can go on for my swim afterwards as normal. Just will try to avoid anywhere to lonely since it will be stupid o'clock.

    Keep it up everyone!

Welcome Miss Moneypenny - I think the more you post on here, the more motivational it is. You've already taken the big step of doing Week 1 Run 1 so the rest is plain sailing from here :D;)

Belfastgirl23 - Good luck for your 5k run on Thursday :j Make sure you report back!

I have my Week 6 Run 1 tomorrow morning which I'm quite looking forward to. It's supposed to be nice and hot tomorrow so I must try and get out a bit earlier than usual!

    Happy running all!

I felt this way too but honestly is not too bad;)...you only have to do 2x 3 mins along with 2x90 sec runs so it seems to be over really quickly:D ..all in its only 4 intervals compared to 6 of last week.
