I have just checked out my local forecast on the bbc and its going to be -2 tonight (my poor plants!) ...so looks like its going to be chilly again in the morning. I must remember to dig out some gloves as my hands nearly froze off on monday:eek::D.
I hope that I dont get stuck in traffic either so I can get back from the school run for about 8.30 and get run 2 done before I have to dash off again.
I would prefer it if my dh started work a bit later so I could get it done before he sets off (and I have to set off on school run) but he goes at 6.30am and I am NOT a morning person:rotfl: Just the thaught of getting up at 6am ....._pale_ getting up at 7 is bad enough:rotfl:!!
well done everyone today:T:T:TJAN GC- £155.77 out of £200FEB GC £197.31 out of £180:o. MARCH GC - out of £200

I managed week 7 run 2 today. It was warm enough, that for the first time ever I didn't wear my big baggy sweatshirt. Where do people put their tissues or am I the only person whose nose starts running the minute their body starts?:)
I didn't enjoy it very much again:( but I did do it and again the main reason I did not chicken out was because of everyone on here. So thanks peeps:)
I just wish I could loose some weight. I'm still putting it on despite all the extra exercise. Seeing the Doc tomorrow so I am going to quiz him...could be my hormones? Sorry this is probably too much information.:o At
least my fat body is a getting fitter fat body. Well done to everybody who has run today or yesterday we are all getting there.:DEnough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D0 -
I did it... but it wasn't easy. I was actually talking to myself saying "keep going, you can't go on mse and tell them you failed" :rotfl:
teachergirl - I asked that question because I was putting on weight and people told me that when you run you can put on weight when you start off rather than lose it. They gave me a link to it all but I can't find it now. There's a couple reasons, one being the extra muscle, one being the fact your appetite probably goes up but there were other reasons that made more sense to me... now I just can't remember them :rotfl:Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -

:rotfl: You made me giggle at the Edited by teachergirl. Reason: Definitely got the quote thing wrong.
You just press Quote on the post then add your own message into the end of what it says
Yeah I doubt I would have finished if I wouldn't have to come on here and inform everyone that I failedJust because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -
O.K. thought I would be really clever Drea and quote your message back following the instructions but it still looked like gobble de gook. I will stick to simple messages from now on:D:D:DEnough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D0

Hi all. I am looking for inspiration to lose weight and plan to start after an exam I have mid-May. I have done a couple of 5k walks in the past couple of yearsd and a 8 mile walk but thats about it (all for charity).
However, I often think if I Really really tried I might be able to do a half marathon eventually - so this sounds like a good plan if it is motivational.
Can anyone tell me whether these podcasts REALLY are for couch potatoes first of all... and not for people with lots of previous running experience who just need to get back into it??
Well done to all who are sticking to the plan and achieving their goals. xDebt at LBM:idea: - 12 April 2010 B/C [STRIKE]6471.74 [/STRIKE]APR 19.9% M & S 4849.74 APR 18.9% Sant Zero 2487.89 APR 18.58%

I fell off the wagon with a few bouts with migraines, but I'm back! Did an extra week of the week 4 podcast then did the week 5 for the first time today. Still struggling with the jogging part as I lose my beat as soon as I switch from power walking to jogging and jog much faster than the beats - so have just reverted to power walking then intense power walking as that way I'm on beat - the intense power walking looks a bit funny though I do prefer it to running then after a minute or 2 of being totally out of sync running out of puff! I HRM tells me I'm still in my training zone - I guess eventually the beat will get so fast I will have to run!
I think I get my podcasts from a different website than everyone here - I'd be interested in comparing beats per minute and run length if someone could give me the website? No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!0
