Oh and I have just done wk3 run 1 :j
And it felt fine, easier than week 2?! But I really did go insanely slow (probably half the speed I usually go) - thanks to whoever suggested I slow down a bit. I hardly covered any distance at all and didn't feel particularly tired after it, but I jogged for hree whole minutes without stoppingDidn't feel sick when I finished either.
So, I think that running after 9pm is the best time for me. Drinking water & eating fruit beforehand seemed to keep the sick feeling at bay, too.0 -

I know it's a bit sad but I feel really happy that I did it... esp. as I was dreading it.
But just wondering why it's a mad time of day to run? Is it recommended that you run early or something?0 -
I enjoy running later in the summer, and it's getting lighter in the eveningsMurphy's No More Pies Club #209

completelylost. don't worry I was joking with you;) Some way back on the thread we were discussing when we run. It was clear that some people are larks(see time of my post) and some people owls. I personally am so tired in the evenings I fall asleep on the sofa and could not possibly walk, let alone run at 9.oopm at night:D Keep going it doesn't matter when just so long as you do it.:DEnough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D0

Just done week 7 run1:j:j:j:j. It was hard but I did it. He did not seem to say as many encouraging words on the podcast and I really missed them:( I forgot to check the time when I started so until I had got half way, I had no idea where I was. Still it's a gorgeous day and I am going to make the most of it by pottering in the garden.:DRun done.
How is everybody else getting on?Enough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D0
