have just saved it to the desktop and it opens. how do i get it to my mp3 player ....lol
Left click and hold your mouse on the mp3 file on your desktop (or wherever you choose to save it), and drag it onto the mp3 player drive. Does that make sense? I'm not the best at explaining things0 -

Yes, I think so. Left click and drag it into my computer, and then do the same (left click then drag) to get into the sansa drive.

Hi Everyone,
Just a quickie as I do need to read back to see how you're all getting on. I did Week 4 Run 1 yesterday, and God it felt good!!!!!!! I still can't believe that I actually ran for 5 min without stopping!! Have my Week 4 Run 2 tomorrow morning, so fingers crossed that goes just as well.
Keep up the good work0 -

Jumping into the middle of things here so may be posting somewhat out of sequence.
I found the original C25k thread, downloaded it and struggled like hell to get started (I was that unfit I could only do half of week 1). Eventually got through it, cleared the programme and life got in the way and I quit for a good long while. Going to get back into it once I get the car back up and working - I treadmill it, have taught too many of the kids around here to be seen in public running - probably pick up from week 5 or something like that. I really wanted to do race for life this year but I've left it too late to get up to speed and do it now - but considering I started out as someone who couldn't run a minute - it's a seriously good programme.
Some things I learnt:
- Get PROPER shoes - get them fitted if you can do so you know what type you need - there are tonnes out there but it's worth doing - shin splints are NOT fun. I got lucky and went to Decathalon as I was passing one day and they happened to have the foot scanning machine in that week so I got my feet and ankles scanned, know exactly the size and type I need to buy - and they didn't try to flog me the most expensive ones - makes a tonne of difference though.
- The universal law of iPod invisibility - if you have one on - no one can see how tragically you feel you look wobbling down the street like a red-faced jelly!
- Stretch before and after - I was getting completely knocked back by pain in my shins and calves, just feeling incredibly tight and uncomfortable to the point of almost burning - had to really increase the amount of stretching I was doing, and if I skipped it at the end... well, stairs the next day were not a fun experience
- Sounds silly - but having some blind faith in the programme helped me a lot - if you cleared the run before - you ARE physically capable of clearing the next one... yes, even THAT one on week 5. Believe it or not - it's actually pretty easy when you get up to it - just the boredom/mental factor that still gets me now.
- The jump from week 3 to week 4 is probably the roughest - it's a massive increase in actual time spent running - and to be honest, the ullery podcast music for the week didn't do it for me at all. I don't think I cleared fully any of the week 4 runs, yet strangely - week 5 was a breeze.
- If you're struggling with a run... slow... down... clearing the interval is more important than outdoing Speedy Gonzalez.
- Biggest thing I found was to keep in mind that after you've done it a few weeks - it doesn't actually get any worse than after the first 5 minutes... I won't let myself wuss out and call it a no-go day until I've done at least 5 minutes - and by then I've usually got to the static level of grrrrr and can go pretty easily.
Can't get back to it till I get my car back fixed on Friday hopefully. Plan is to jump back in at week 4/5 ish - probably week 5 for a couple of weeks as I enjoy the longer intervalled runs much more - and not pack it in after week 9 again this time!Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0
