I just want to say well done everyone, it does get easier as the weeks go on and fitness improves.
I also want to report on the Aldi running socks - they are great, it didn't realise what a difference they would make.
If anyone is using an iphone try the Get Running app. It costs (£1.75 I think) but you can use your own ipod/iphone music and the voice politely interrupts when it is time to go on to the next phase.

I remember from training before the sense of achievement (rather than happiness) when I finished a long run, those days are far off for me now but I'll get there.Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0

If you're using an mp3 player make sure you're on the MP3 Podcast section so that you get them in the right formatyou should be able to download them from there. Not sure how to get them onto your player though.

I think you're on the normal podcast page... on the top of the website should be a section called "MP3 Podcasts"?Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -
Like Drea says, there's a tab across the top for MP3, then just choose the right week, click on the download option and save it to whatever directory your MP3 player loads as.
Good luck!Now proud Mumto3 :j0 -

I'd probably right click then click Save As, you could save it to your desktop just now for easy access to it. Then you'd have to put it onto your mp3 player, I have no idea about that though. I've used ipods for years.Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -
well done Drea, really pleased for you and everyone who's done their running since I was last on here. I do look forward to coming on here reading how well everyone is getting on, it really motivates me to get my rear into gear!. And although I feel exhausted when I've pulled myself together it puts me in a really good mood, and feel tonnes better about myself!:D
I managed my week3 run2 yesterday was quite exhausted but managed it and had a relax in the steam room after, thought I deserved it. I did lots of stretches and warmed up on the bike first but my calves still hurt.
I'd love to be able to drag myself out of bed in the morning to exercise before work but I'm up at 6 toget myself ready then the kids and OH.0
