Popped into Aldi today to get some of the sports headphones (resisted the jacket!). Just tried them on and they feel fine, will be so good to run tonight without them popping out all the time.

    Sunshine as well, can't wait.........

I wish I had an Aldi near me :( could really do with the jacket/trousers/tops :rotfl:

I don't have much for running at the moment you see.

Ell, no running for me since Monday. It is jsut so hot here, and I am so tired (I think I am still jet-lagged, and will be the same next week when I get back to UK). But I am going to be back. Promise - no quitting this time!!!

Welcome, Elkay. Hope you're enjoying it!

Just got back from W2, Run 3. Legs felt a bit stiff, but did 7 reps as I ended up far more than 5 mins walk from home!

Have now got it loaded onto a little MP3 player, far better than hubbies Ipod touch for me (not as much to go wrong!).

Also got my sports headphones from Aldi, so don't feel like they are going to fall out all the time.

Next run on Saturday I think.

Has anyone entered any events? I'm doing the Race for Life which is beginning of June (just as I finish this program),

    Keep running everyone!

Hi! I joined a gym yesterday, and this afternoon completed week one, run one - and am still alive! I've entered Race for Life this June, so hopefully will be able to run some if not all of it :j

hi all, just a quickie from me, don't get on very often and looks like i had loads to catch up on! Looks like everyone is doing well.:T

I did W2 R3 AGAIN! on Tuesday I thought I had loaded Week 3 onto my ipod but obviously hadn't. Was a bit annoyed but was better than doing nothing.

I've just got back from the gym and done Week3 Run1, found it quite hard was very red faced! wasn't really breathless but calves were killing! maybe need to strecth a bit more. But like bertiebots said 'no pain-no gain'

Keep it up everyone! I love reading how well everyone is getting on :j

Good morning everyone. Welcome to elkay115 and maisy_daisy.
I have just done week 5 run 3 a twenty minute run:j:j:j. I managed to run non stop, though the term "run" may be a misnomer. I was determined to go the whole way without stopping so I started really really slow and only sped up when he said there was just three minutes to go.The only person I overtook was a very old lady carrying her shopping :o I must admit I did want to stop but the thought of being able to post on here that I had done it, was a huge encouragement.
I checked out next week and I notice it goes back to two or three shorter runs again. Not sure why this is...do you have to speed up?
    Keep going everyone.:D
Enough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D
