I hope you're OK - have you thought about calling NHS Direct for their advice?

Don't worry about me please there are many person worse off than me,:D used to hypos here and there that is not such a big thing but that many in 24 hours leaves you with a massive head ache a huge appetite, fatigued where your eyeballs hurt, confused so you don't know even what day it is let alone answer the kids questions as nothing makes sense:rotfl:and the young son is right carry on like this sugary way and I will be piling all the weight back on:rotfl:I feel as if I have been beaten up badly, I ache so bad, should lie down and go to sleep but I want to spend the day with the kids and OH and not be this ill and unwell, flamin' diabetes:D

I thought about checking myself into the hospital today let alone ring NHS direct:rotfl:my diabetic team we have had issues big ones because they are worse than useless so when OH suggested I call them tomorrow I said it was not worth it and I would work through it on my own as you have to have an appointment and he said 'appointment, appointment, with that many hypos you should be an emergency case!':rotfl:

So do I, 8 in 24 hours is ridiculous it is a wonder I am not in a diabetic coma:D you see the diabetic team I have are so bad at their jobs, once I had daily calls from them because my insulin was changed and I had 4 different people seeing to me so 4 times repeating the story, 4 times difference of opinion of what to do with me (this in 1 week) then one trainee asked while I could hear on the phone what dosage I should have, difficult to explain to a non diabetic but I heard her say 22 units 18 were causing me hypos so more insulin would have been disastrous, he came back to the phone and said 22 units and I said no way 18 is causing me all this upping it is ridiculous, he shouted back at the consultant that I disagreed and she said well fair enough let her do what she wants then:eek:

I did get to see the top consultant once and told him about it, he said that because they do not know my history that could be to blame for the wrong unit dosage being told to me, they had all my files, all my history and I was under them for help for guidance and to stop the numbers escalating on the new insulin, in the end by the end of that week they decided to take me off the insulin and put me back on my old insulin, as far as they were concerned case closed and never rang me again.

I second the others, hope youre alright now :)

I went to the wedding fair at detling. Whilst i was working i have picked out my car and my cake, aswell as having myself signed up to some really expensive catering firm just to try their dessert ha! Im such a push over. It was very exciting though, even for a non engaged person like myself.

    Have a good week everyone!
