Good luck with your day Victory. I'm sure your customer care will be fine - you know that you get on well with people and that surely is the main thing whe n you're taking blood pressures. The machine does the rest. :)

good luck Victory, a smile goes a long way to lowering blood pressure, mine always goes up at the doctors (mainly coz the doctor is rather fit!! a girl can dream lol)

I am off to the hospital later for an x-ray on my finger, I rather foolishly ran my finger over last Thursday with a sewing machine, snapped the needle and can't find the end of the needle....... Oh the joys!!

I agree when ever they use them new fangles machines on me they always read higher than when they give up and get the old murcury filled hand pump ones that according to the EU are dangerous, which before the EU we used for years and did no harm. Them new automated machines just end up bruising my arm :(

Lots of great results this week, well done all :T
Think I may have cracked the travelling thing, took some fruit & water in my bag with me yesterday plus some 70%+ chocolate; Had some cereal when I got to the office, a sensible lunch (veggie pie), and had the apple on the train on the way home. When my sugar craving hit I had a couple of squares of the chocolate and that sorted out my sweet tooth. Then I had to go and spoil it by meeting up with some friends for dinner; I tried to be good & ordered chicken & salad , had one glass of wine, thought I was doing well until one of my friends couldnt finish her pizza so I helped her out! Doh! At least I didnt have any dessert :o

Well done on the naked Antionio Banderas pics BTW - whoever that was - had to make sure no-one was looking over my shoulder just then, may go back for another look later when it quietens down around here a bit.:D
Not too sure about the guy in the orange y-fronts though Eric??

It is 2kw higher than the previous one and the first shower of today has blown the switch downstairs, came down flicked it back up had the shower, son had shower and so far so good but do take your point and will ask OH immediately he comes in as to why it tripped and if we should get it checked:D what was the difference in KW of yours?

victory - our shower only changed by about that too. It didn't trip the switch it just overheated and the water would go cold. but after a while the shower casing started to melt and that was when we called out a plumber. when he opened the casing all the wires inside has melted and the inside of the casing was melted. Really dangerous - please be careful!!

eric - lovin your work!! Very motivational!! MUST get OH back to the gym - that's what he looked like when we met (I am such a bad influence:()

Don't you ever wish that if you eat 2500 and only use 2000 you could just poo out the other 500 instead of it attaching itself to you somewhere. I mean that's what happens with excess vitamins. Then noone would ever be fat - although we would all need free loo roll from the NHS and as for the sewers YEUCH (Yep I'm having a strange morning)

Weighed myself this morning - forgot yesterday and I am now 11s 7lb (the scales are going the wrong way again sh*t) Looks like I'm starting again! Off to sort out my signature (my last one was censored :()

Thanks for the helpful comments, everyone. Well, 3 out of 5 evenings on the swimming crash course and I am happy to say that I can now swim!! That is, if swimming is defined as being able to do a recognised stroke - front crawl - and lift face out of water enough to be able to take a breath. I did it last evening for the first time in my entire life, so you can imagine how euphoric I was on coming out of the pool. I've tried going forward but never been able to lift my face up far enough to take a breath. I asked my teacher if I could try front crawl - I think the teacher on the weekly course thought it was too advanced for me - I tried it, and found it quite easy turning side to side and taking a breath, much easier than trying to go forward and not breathe at all.

I can't wait to get back in the pool this evening and progress further from there, build on success.

Course was fine, yes it is for the module we all have to do it, one ladies was 221/94:eek: it is called white coat syndrome (see the doc, panic, blood pressure goes up) so all the readings were just put down to trial, lots of paper work to read and forms to fill out that I attended so all good, came home OH is laid up with sickness, diarohea and feeling extremely cold so he has got 3 blankets on, in bed with kaolin and morphin in his tummy, hopefully he will feel better soon, he is the last person ever to fall ill in the family:D

The shower works fine now cannot go up to 10 OH says it stays on 8 and does not trip 10 it does but OH says he can live with that and leaves it on 8, we start it off by the pull cord on the wall and it works fine, will ask him to check inside for the wiring when he feels better.

Tried the new onion and the new black pepper ryvita today, onion far too strong and black pepper neither nor, still prefer the old ones like multi grain or pumpkin seed or sesame, tried to try the snack packs of 99 cals special K but kids ate them all, tried the milk choc one but thought it was too sweet for me and will not have that one again and it also feels like a waste of 99 cals for just a few tiny mouth size biscuits, they keep advertising the biscuit breakfast everywhere so maybe will try those but know if I do I will miss the milk that goes on the cereal in the morning,s a biscuit for breakfast:eek:

allis I have handed in 2 more modules (have to do one every 2 weeks and 3 days according to PH chart) but they have not been marked, so no idea of the scoring, hopefully 100% like sary said then I can get to crow a bit ha ha

pep how much of a while was it?
