Afternoon peeps! :hello:
Well done to all the losers so far :T and big thanks to Eric for the new pic...mmmmmmm, that has improved my day no end! :rotfl:
Scales say STS for me again this week. But I do feel that I have lost some - I'm sure the bulge around my middle has shrunk a bit, and one of my friends commented the other day that I looked like I had lost weight. Anyway, please may I be zero'd on the chart Fred? The thing is I first had my name put up on it at 10st10lb earlier in the year, went completely off track and gained 5lbs, and have been sitting at 11st1lb ever since. So, must get new scales (although think will have to wait for pay-day for that) and will start afresh from there.
Good luck the rest of you with your weigh-ins.

+ 2lbs this week please Fred:(
not a massive surprise for me but disappointing nonetheless. Just like my school reports - could do better!
Still lovely weather here in Norn Iron, a wee bit cold but the sun is out so that's always a bonus. Lots to do this afternoon so best crack on.
Well done to everyone who's lost or STS this week.0 -
well done everyone! lots of good losses and constructive advice.0

Vix just look at those shoulders!!! Just keep them coming Eric!!
I think I deserve my own eye candy for losing 2lbs this week too, now wouldn't that be motivational :rotfl:4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
Thanks for your reply, Eric. I've looked at the site you quote, and they do recommend more calories than I've been eating.
I think people like Arnold Schwarzenegger are something of a special case. He built all that muscle many years ago and he works hard to keep it. Starting from now, it would be difficult!
This week, my fitness is 5 evenings swimming lessons. Normally I go to aqua-aerobics, swimming lesson, swimming practice - that's 3 days. Then chair-based fitness and resistance the other days.Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.

Hi all, once again sorry for not posting very much, am far too busy and not much of it "fun" stuff unfortunately. Am off to the cinema tonight tho so theres something nice. House is being photographed tomorrow and will be on the market this weekend so lots of housework to keep on top of so its all shiny for viewings.
Can i report a 1lb loss please Fred. Can I just have that as my total loss aswell please, would like to start over again. So glad to finally have a loss again.
I should be moving back to the south in about 9 weeks by which time I will (apparently...although god knows how im going to get it finished in that time) have finished all of my uni work. I will obviously be looking for a job or if some miracle happens and i find one very quickly I will be working but have decided that Im going to seriously up my exercise again. Just so bogged down with uni work i cant be bothered to do it or cant even justify the time away from my work. It sounds like an excuse and it probably is but its not like im wasting hours watching tv or playing games or w/e...my life is uni work, sorting house stuff, walking the dog, uni work and then bed!
I hope everyone is doing well in general...oh and well done BB noticed your losses! Congrats to everyone else aswell0 -
hi folks thanks to Eric for his links, I just checked my maintenance rate and its way over what I am eating, so maybe thats why the weight loss has stopped for the mo? (maintenance rate is 2497 and I am eating about 1700 per day)
Anyway weigh in was this morning, and wooo hooo -1lb please Fredsnail.
Well done to all the loosers and sts'ers.
Hope you're all enjoying the sunshine as much as we are up here.
You never know how strong you are until you have no other option.0
