i get to thinking about food, always at that time past lunch--it was 4,30 where i am but it has passed without a morcel--i will eat after i have finished teaching for the day--i teach better when i am hungry!!---its a habit here for people to eat here between 7,30 and 9 which doesnt help the cause!
I like to have my dinner a little later too - which is why I build in a snack around 4pm. I find thats when my blood sugar drops and unless I eat some protein (hard boiled eggs, sliced ham, cooked chicken breast pieces) along with a piece of fruit I will start eating anything and everything I can get my hands on! I'm not suggesting a huge meal, but a little snack will help you get through the day! When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
I would agree with Marion that four hours after a meal is normal to be hungry again. There's nothing wrong with having snacks - keeps the metabolism ticking over - especially if you won't be eating for another 3 or 4 hours.0

Just in case you are not inclined to take up Eric's inccredibly kind offer .... Make a special trip R!gby and P£ller if there is one within reach. Horrendously expensive, but in my opinion worth it, as they will fit you with a bra that really truly fits. Once you've had a bra from there you can judge much better what fits you (even if you go into the dreaded M?S lingerie department). And if you add up the cost of all the bras you've bought that don't fit the cost of one RP bra that does isn't so bad. Works for those who are well endowed and also those who are more streamlined.
Second Rigby and Peller! Especially for the more buxom lady. They are fantastic. They can tell your size without measuring. The girl just looked at me and came in with the best fitting bra I have ever had. Plus she wasn't trying to get me to buy anything. My friend came along the next time and was measured up but left without buying anything and the staff didn't mind at all. My OH and hers both asked if there were any vacancies as they wouldn't mind retraining for the job of bra fitter!I would if I could but I can't so I won't!0 -
i do wish i didnt need a bra!!
i ate at 8pm local time---when i teach i feel nothing but happiness--it does explain why i dip at the time of the afternoon tea!--

Hello gang
Just a quick update as I dont have much time tonight - I had a go on the powerplate last night. really good, exhausting though! Wasn't expecting to feel so knackered but it does make you work! Did 30 mins with a personal trainer and felt really good after, but it did make me feel a bit sick (well, it was basically just jiggling around for 30 mins!) so it helped with the diet too as I didn't have the stomach for dinner and just had some cereal!
Hope we're all enjoying the lovely weather!!Moneysavinghopeful :rotfl:0 -
I am enjoying the lovely weather, certainly lifts the spirits:D loads of gardening today and put the soil in the hanging baskets, ran out, have no plants to put in them yet but hey one thing at a time and the shower has not tripped today so must have been a one off and eldest son offered to help without wanting to be paid for it (he knows he over stepped the mark the other day) he won't apologize but is trying to smooch in back with me so I am using his good will and getting lots of things done, oh the joy of a bit of sunshine and good will to make a perfect day:D0

Granny, 10 km is still a lot of walking by most people's standards (including mine!) I'm actually reducing my cycling in favour of walking (hiking) at the moment, it's such a fab exercise
.
Lois congrats on the new job! That sounds great! :T0 -

So, is it a private meet between the elite few then or can anyone join?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::D
lois my mother in law does that for a bit to get money to travel with and then she goes and does a bit of helping on farms, or batch cooking and selling her pies, strawberry picking all kinds of things to get the money for their caravan's petrol/insurance etc they were just on their way to France when the clutch went they are very well insured and the AA put them up in a hotel and towed them home so they are o.k, disappointed but when they get over there she will turn her hand to anything to get some pennies to travel with, she loves the life:D0
