Advice from all our exercise freaks out there. I am expecting a really bad week at work this week, due to too many being on holiday and poor management.
I am looking for some good work out music. Something that will make me walk a wee bit faster so I can perhaps get a couple of early finishes. Going through my rock collection atm, and have got stuck on Alice Cooper. Suggestions on a postcard please, what kind of music makes u work that wee bit harder when u're exercising?

love dance / trance music for training, anything with a fast kick !!! beat you can pound too

AC/DC's iron man 2 album rocks as well

It's amazing what a difference a day makes, yesterday plodding along singing a song, this morning woke up to my right hand made into a fist with the arthritis, can't even wash my hair or do my bra up, my knees are burning with arthritis pain , my feet, I can't even bend down because my arms, back with the pain won't let me but I have my little helper, my son washed my hair, dressed me, bless him:D

He is at the stage where he still thinks it is fun and helpful to help his mum rather than me being a pain:D so I am very lucky and blessed:D

Mazza - for some different music to exercise to, try the Subway biggest loser soundtracks. It's all recent music (lady gaga, jay-z etc) but it's all remixed and set to a really good tempo for a workout. You can get volume 2 for free here:
http://www.podworkoutmusic.com/SUBWAY/ . It's cheesy music (not usually my kind of thing - I like rock and roll!) but it works!!!

And volume 1 was available recently, I remember downloading it, but I can't find it online now - try searching the freebies board for it.
Well done on your loss serendisglair

Betty - thanks for the link, I'm downloading now (free music - very MSE!:D

Mazza - here's a selection on what's on my Ipod playlist for "Gym" (nb: we have a vast selection of CD's - over 1000 between us - so I have loads to choose from, but I can try to PM you something from my iTunes library if there's anything you fancy not sure how yet)

Bohemian Like You - Dandy Wharholes
    Smooth - Santana
    Rock DJ - Robbie Williams
    She Bangs - Ricky Martin
Livin La Vida Loca - Ricky Martin
They Dont Care About Us - Michael Jackson
    Rescue Me - Madonna
    Suicide Blonde - Inxs
I See You Baby - Groove Armada
Take Me Out - Franz Ferdinand
Spread Your Love - Black Rebel Motor Cycle Club
    Mr Blue Sky - ELO
    Mercy - Duffy
    Sweet Dreams - Beyonce
Goody Two Shoes - Adam & The Ants

Just a small selection but a real mixture - the kind of stuff that makes me want to skip down the street (and far preferable to the rubbish they play in the gym!)
