Been a busy weekend here, had FIL visiting, meal out last night, goodies in front of the tv, big breakfast this morning, feeling like a sack of spuds right now. Probably going to be reflected on the scales this week
Dont know if its the heat, the late night or what but I zonked out for 3 hours on the bed this abo.
victory - good for you, didn't see your letter in time but I'm glad you decided to tone it down a bit. In my exerperience as soon as you start making these things personal you lose credibility, so just sticking to the facts is they way forward. Good luck.
fellpony - congrats on the wedding!
eric - I second that motion!! Take a laxative next time
crisp£note - welcome to our loopy thread. :hello: we go off-topic quite a lot (as you probably realised) so its quite refreshing, no trolls, no negative vibes, just great fun and strangely addictive:D. I've only just started on SW too and if you have the time take a look on the SW thread, lots of reading and ideas to be had there.
Today, for the first time, I find myself with nothing to do. Such a strange feeling, no housework, paperwork, studying, essay-writing. I do need to job search but I'm saving that for when I get to work tomorrow! :rotfl:(it will give me something to do there!) Off to catch up on some of my Who Do You Think You Are DVDs that my bro gave me, done Stephen Fry and Jeremy Clarkson, just Sheila Hancocock and Jeremy Paxman to go.£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

Sorry I've been AWOL guys. Our broadband connection disappeared on Wednesday afternoon, and took several calls to them, over a few days, to finally get us connected again. It was quite nice to be relieved of any online duties, but coming back to a mahoosive inbox of emails, and then several pages of reading to catch up on here, made me realise how much time I must spend on here sometimes.
Victory - I hope this latest saga at work resolves without too much flak coming your way. You got some great support and advice along the way though, as always on this lovely thread
fellpony - congratulations! How's married life then?
fred - thanks for doing the chart. Lots of newbies to get on there again now too.
eric - thanks for keeping us up to date on your bowels! You should have stuck a flag in it and claimed it for England!
beanie - well done on clearing the CC debt. That's a big achievement. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Phew finally caught up. Had my sister staying for the weekend and have kind of been ignoring the weightloss thing (especially when it came to the chocolate desserts at the ball last night! managed to avoid the alcohol tho). Back on the straight and narrow tomorrow tho. Going to lose this regained stone by the end of summer leave - loads of time as that is the beginning onf Sep.. I will remain a slim size 12, I have no intention of buying a new wardrobe again.
As has been said - nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.0 -
I have bought a fly screen from Aldi £3.49, comes in 4 panels with weight at the bottom, it has taken me hours to make it stay up and when it does, it flaps so loudly and so hard it pulls itself away again and all the flies come happily in, my sis has bought an actual fly screen that
glides along the runners of the patio doors and it was so very expensive I decided I would do it the cheap way keep the flies out.....not recommended, a lot of rubbish, it just will not do what it is supposed to do:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I now have more super glue on me and the pvc, the laminated floor than on the actual fly screen to make it stick and still it doesn't:rotfl:0 -
Whilst shocked that a fish pie from Table Table works out at about 20 ww points I must say that I am REALLY impressed by their online nutrition tables.
Maybe more useful to look at it before going though0 -
