Vic I'm sorry but I have to say it - how on earth can a shop run by such a bunch of amateur, biatching, backstabbing morons be close to "a shop of excellence"?

It makes me wonder how bad the other shops are.

Each shop gets awarded points, how fast the prescriptions come out, points, the mystery shoppers come round often and tests, the cleanliness of the shop, the state of the shelves, the promotions displayed properly, the stock room, everything is allocated points and points means prizes:D well not actually for us because my colleague told me yesterday that however well we do, we never get a head office thank you or well done or a bonus or a treat etc so on an individual personal level it makes no odds to us whether we have a shop of excellence or not:D

Hi everybody! Not sure if this is the right place to ask (sorry if I got it wrong) but I am wanting to loose weight and am looking for any discount codes for Slimming World online as I am unable to get to a class regularly. I will also think about joining this MSE group as well :)

    :money:
Money Slimming Experts! £1 for lb we're cheaper and lighter! :D

welcome! I don't know of any slimming world codes but if you buy weightwatchers scales some of them come with money off things. Check the discount code thread to be sure though :)

Hey guys, hows it all going? sorry i've been awol at glastonbury!

Victory - sounds shocking, nothing changes in the workplace does it. Aportioning blame on the wrong person in my view as you can't be responsible for something you know nothing about! I hope they sort things out for you.

In my news, three more pounds and i've lost a stone. it's been five weeks ish and i didn't lose anything for the week i was away for glasto, i didn't gain anything either which i'm relieved about.

I'm still pushing ahead with my calorie counting, need to get back onto the exercise this week though, cycling to work and swimming at lunchtime. Had a shocker at work on my return there after Glasto, our director (in local government) in his infinite wisdom has decided to move us out of a new air conditioned building in a town centre, to a portacabin in the middle of nowhere.. i'm so angry. If i wanted to get there on public transport its a no no as there are only buses every hour, i can't cycle there as its too far and on a really busy stretch of road which i'd hate..

Plus to top it all off, he's made this decision now and he's actually being interviewed for his own job in two weeks time, so may not actually be here when we move??

makes no sense, to top it all off he's told us we need to have paperless desks (as in hotdesking) i wouldnt mind if we were a call centre and everything was done on computers but i am a statutory consultee on planning applications, i have to scale off plans.. my in tray is massive (full of planning apps) and the planners are all in my current building, so im going to spend my life driving between the two buildings and lugging around a huge in tray.

gutted is not the word, the world has definately gone mad. and i blame David Cameron for it.

    :(

lol Eric - can't wait for the pics. And next time you get a dissapointing result, perhas hold back on going mental for a week to see if an explanation 'arrives with gusto'. :D

Victory - like granny, so sorry I haven't been around (I've been on a tript o the west country for a funeral). But you have as ever had some great support here anyway:T:T.
I totally agree this whole situation is farcical: how can you be blamed for something you knew nothing about, and then be expected to be at home all day on your day off??? And hang around and be late to pick up your little one???
The supervisor sounds like what is know as a 'passive aggressive' and a total manipilator - she obvious is set by default to twist even the most ludicrous to everybody else's cruel fault and the whole world is against her.
The letter was a good idea.

Fellpony - welcome bak and gald you had such a lovely wedding.
Welcome crisp£note - don't know any discount codes I'm afraid but the SW support thread might (over on the health section of the money in marriages/families forum)

Beanie - stunning achievement to be debt free:T:T:T

Introduced to the world of service station burgerking by my bro on our road trip. Interesting. Won't be hurrying back.
Thought my weight might have shot up but it has sts which is good. (that's not a chartw.i. fred)

Shell - I feel your pain. These random decisions are so ridiculous:mad:

Mazza - good luck on the relationship decisions. Sounds like getting to know each other really well is the healthy way to go and a win win situation. I see OH and I being together as about just enjoying each others company and valuing each other and wanting the best for each other.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once
