Well I think if you want to continue there you maybe need to tone down a wee bit or two.
But thats just my personal opinion.

Which bits shall I tone down?
No, the course is covered by them, I am after leaving when the module is completed, this letter is not to leave with this letter is to make it clear that I am not at fault,I will not be blamed for something I am not in the wrong for and the supervisor is cut and dry.0 -
I know you are not out to leave at the mo but you maybe have to be ready for them letting you go.

No, at work you mean? No, even my so called friend or rather more colleague, the one that I love working with and vice versa because we have a right laugh would not back me, diplomacy is the name of the game, no one wants to take sides, someone did mention that I could maybe have stayed longer in the shop and waited for her to return from the docs to see what she wanted.....
Other than that no, everyone clammed up, I showed people the note the supervisor left my colleague and one of them did roll her eyes and say crickey but that is as far as it goes....
I can't get anyone to see that the supervisors poor planning does not make an emergency crisis on my part, I am not expected to jump when she calls and justify myself because I was out and she panicked, what if I had gone away?0 -
Please pass by this post as this thread is clearly about food and this has no relevance if you so wish and I apologize for veering completely off track but if anyone is interested in correcting the letter to the boss and could help me before I put it in the envelope then thanks....here goes
Dear ....
I wanted to put in writing my feelings about .... handling of a work related incident that took place whilst you were on holiday.
On the 1st July .... was left a sealed envelope addressed to her from ...., which ....was supposed to relay to me. I enclose a copy.
In the letter it clearly states that I am to blame for the whole team failing their MSA as I was the only person to not complete the computer test. At no time during the month of June had ...told me that this was required of me. In fact I worked with ....on dates for my usual 4 hour shift and the test was never mentioned.
On wednesday the 30th June, on my day off, I was out shopping returning home just short of 3pm. I had 2 mess to ring ... One of them said I had to be in contact by 3.30pm, immediately I raced to the shop, it was 3.10pm, 5 mins off picking my son up from school.
....was not there when I arrived at 3.10pm she had stopped work to go to the docs. I could not wait as would have been late picking up my son.
If ...could not get me on my landline she could have reached me on my mobile, the number would be in my work records. (now the next bit I may think is a bit harsh put people here say it is o.k to put in.....) It highlights poor management leadership skills, .... wants to make me the scapegoat for her poor memory, her lack of planning does not constitute an emergency crisis on my part, especially not on my day off. I cannot be by the telephone just in case ... remembers she has something that I should do.
Think you need to reword this section
I have since been told by others that they were not informed at the beginning of the month they had to take the test and some completed them on Mon 28th and Tue 29th, having had 4 weeks according to them previous to complete it.
According to who?
Surely the fact that I did not take the test of which I had no idea I had to cannot be my fault. ..... had ample time and within out mutual shift work to tell me, 4 weeks infact so I have been now told, obviously forgot and now is trying to offload her guilt/incompetence as supervisor onto me (too harsh too personal too much?) extremely unfair in my opinion.
Tone this bit down.
It is indeed too personal & in all honesty you dont know she is trying to offload her guilt or incompetence.
Dont give your own personal opinions.
It is her responsibility to inform the staff in good time of tasks that need completing.
She has failed to do that and I am not prepared to take the blame for her errors.
Crikes too much?
At the end of the day it is entirely up to you what you put though.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. If you mean my family and friends, they all want me to leave/stand up for myself/ not let it go, my sis wants me to contact head office immediately (not doing that yet, that is in the future if I don't get a reply which I know I will so that will be averted) my OH is beside himself, my mum thinks hang in there for the module as does my OH, my son reckons the supervisor needs to go on a training course:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0

At the end of the day it is entirely up to you what you put though.
I know it is but at the end of the day even though I want to put my point across as she will fall over herself to do as soon as she possibly can (the supervisor will never let this go, ever, she told me on many occasions how she bares grudges and 'gets her way in the end') I want it known I am not at fault.
Don't forget at every given chance the supervisor has not come to me but gone straight to the boss and 'bad mouthed me' leaving either the boss to reprimand me or my lovely colleague on her behalf and then on the shifts together it is all smiles and how is the family?0 -
I love you victory, even when you're going through the mill at work, your always there with words of advice when people need it.
It's got nothing to do with love, i don't do love, I have my cat for love and my kids for love. Don't need that from a man. Does that make me sad?
I really do like this guy though, and we've been talking, we're both scared, so will take things a lot slower and get to know each other a lot better... if that's possible. Feel like we already know everything there is to know, but slow and casual is the way to go for now.
Really hope you get things sorted out at work, can't offer you any advice as I'm going through something similar, but with less patience than you, so i'm the one reading your posts and admiring the patience that you've shown and wish I had half of the patience that you seem to have4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0
