Betty - I've just been on the SW site and downloaded 7 day menu for free,
Here
I've tried SW before (long time ago) and found it confusing but I'm stuck in a rut at the moment and need to make a change so I'm going to give it a go. A colleague tried it and lost 4 lbs in her first week, so I'm going to give it a try. Starting tomorrow. Really. I will. Promise.£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

Thanks - there's no way I can actually carry out the free 7 day plan as I would have to go to the supermakret and do a whole nother monthly shop!! but i'm going to try and tailor it to suit me whilst sticking to the free food and syns rules. Let's both start tomorrow!! :T:T (yes REALLY!)Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

Hope you're ok, have been reading about the rough time you've been having with the miserable people you have been putting up with at work. Its disgusting that they can treat you like that, dont know how you've managed to not cause bodily harm (not that im violent or anything).xx
Thanks:D the more I have analyzed it the more I tend now to agree with everyone else as to the way they talk to me, etc, you see I have not got what is a great tool to have, the ability to shrug it off and not take any notice or oodles of self confidence where it cannot affect me or worry me.
At first I thought it was because I was new to the job and OH kept telling me they are just trying to mould me to their way of doing things because they have done it for decades, so do it as they do and life becomes simpler.
10 months down the line I think they don't like individualism, the boss thinks I am cocky and answer back,he wants to shout/talk/tell me off and I am supposed to listen, stand to attention, hands behind my back, let him go on and on, end of (never been told off in one job as much as this in all my working life!)
I think he is a twonk and the supervisor has no skills, no one has ever taken the time to teach me anything and show me, allowing me the ability to know how to do things, so I have had to bumble along sometimes crashing along the way and they just watch and when it goes pete tong they howler loudly.
Sure, I have made clangers, big one like giving out the wrong prescription (3 weeks of telling off for that one) head office would be horrified at what they have done work wise:rotfl:
No violence has ever crossed my mind:D if it gets too much I go and make a drink for them all, take some deep breathes and smile.
When another job comes up, I am off, it is not a lot I get but it comes in handy and foolish to leave and not have the money, it is hardly a millionaires ransom but it does and for now it has been very helpful.
It turns out though in the end I am better than them and value myself more than to let them walk all over me.0 -
aww Victory, I actually know what it's like to have a manager like that.
We have a trainee manager like that atm. Who in his wisdom instructed me to wear 2 odd work boots to work. And like you, I'm pretty strong willed. So you can imagine what my response was. I then proceeded to tell him I had a doctors appointment that same day, which he told me I would need to cancel, no, can't, it's an emergency appointment, still adamant that I cancelled it.
GRRRRR
This was an appointment for my son who was rushed to hospital 2 weeks ago with a severe allergic reaction to penicillin, who had another allergic reaction to.... god knows what.
Best bit is, my own manager was really supportive. It's like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing in my place. Too many chiefs and not enough indians.
Still can't believe the 2 odd boots situation...4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
tomorrow is here or is it the next day!!mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0
