ok guys I have Lone AF

    http://www.afibbers.org/atrial_fibrillation.htm

I had an angiogram yesterday, heart and arteries are normal so this is not down to me :T looks like i got lucky with all the crap i ate over the last 10 years :j I had a virus about a week or so before it started and this is the most probably suspect

being awake (they cant put me out as i am allergic to egg which is in the drug they put you to sleep with) whilst they cut your artery open and feed a wire up inside you is not that fun, having a gorgeous late 20 year old auzzie nurse swab your genitals was very fun thou, she was very thorough lol

so its 8-10 weeks of drugs which should bring the heart rate back into rhythm

Glad you've got a diagnosis Eric, does this mean you'll be able to restart your exercise routine soon?

Eric, I am so glad that it didn't turn out to be anything more serious. Although what you are going through at the moment must be scary as h*ll you can take comfort that all the good things you have been doing re your diet and exercise will help you get over this incident and hopefully not have any more!

Eric, that is aeriously good news:T:T

Victory, glad to see the diabetic 'excellence in service' continues...
Did my second swim of the week yesterday which brings down the average cost of the swim every time I go within a month, as I pay a month's membership at a time.
This month will work out more expensive than I hope becasue i missed 2 sessions last week through lack of organisations. But I have learnt from this: don't plan to try and do to much before swimming or that's the thing that I cancel coz i have had enough and need to go home.

I enjoy the actual swim but the day after there is no doubt my back and shoulders and elbow joints are more inflamed and painful. I'm still learning to find a balance becasue it is good to exercies with arthritis and keep mobile but you are not supposed to over do it.

Fellpony - congrats on fitting perfectly intio your dress. bet you look fabulous:T. Have a great week and a wonderful day.

Hezza - enjoy being exam free:j and reading what ever you want:D

well done shell on 3lbs lost

Sary: not far from us is an alpaca farm and I do a double take EVERY time we pass as I catch a glimpse out of the corner of my eye.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

consultant told me there's no medical reason not to exercise and to go just on what i feel

however it gets out of control pretty easy which makes me feel very ill so i will take it easy until im under the drugs
