are they welsh?? obviously not dutch!!daffodils-tulips
can eric answer me this! on rest days from exercise what is the affect on weight loss/body in diet terms?? --is there a hidden after burn of calories due to resting--i know for 2 hours after exercise the calories continue burning-

-i was reading back to the beginning of this log and seeing i maybe missing a trick with the cheese in my diet--any substitute ideas -my calorie quota is too low as it is with my biggest meal being breakfast with cheese and some olives and 2 slices of bread--i am beginning to feel weak with hunger!--if my counting is right i am going between 700 to 1000 calories and i need to get to 1760 but healthily!

i was toying with thoughts that i am building muscle and that is heavier than fat so the target weight will become adjusted by this bulk.
    mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.

Tulips look beautiful victory, I was also thinking the same as sary, I can remember last year you having some bother with the neighbours about your tulips. They are one of my favourite flowers! Our town council has done a brilliant job with the flowerbeds this year and there are loads of tulips, really makes the place look colourful

Well done to everyone, and thanks Fred for the chart

The garden looks lovely Victory. Are they the tulips that the neighbour's kids pulled all the petals off last year?

    /QUOTE]

NO it was not the tulips, it was the lovely bright yellow big fat daffs that they took a liking to:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Ahhh have they came through again this year? Hope they keep their mitts off :D

Oops, I never got round to posting my 2.2lb loss. Hopefully I can be a bit more focussed this week and get well on my way to the first half stone....

Well done to the joint SOTW and thanks Fred for the chart.

just taken a load of pictures for my comp of my front garden look at my red tulips, haven't they done well this year? They are just about to be blown away but they do look lovely coming up the road, everyone says how lovely they are the thing is though, I never planted them and no one seems to remember them from last year:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

LOL Victory! You did post about these tulips last year - your neighbours kids were picking them!

Next door neighbours kids age 2 and 4 yesterday pulled the heads off most of my red tulips,(long front stretch of plants at the front of the my house) the heads are on their side of the garden just left there, neither of the so called responsible adult parents either told me about it, apologized, offered to replace them (I mean like I wouldn't notice and to add insult to injury they have just left the heads on their side:rolleyes:)
Young couple, say hello, chat, friendly enough, OH says leave it don't say anything neighbour relations etc but I am spitting because 1) why not come and tell me at least I don't have to find them all be-headed,2) the silence is annoying like they never did it 3) if one of my kids had done something I would own up/make them face it/replant some more/offer to pay for some more as plants are not cheap and 4) why should I pay/plant/water/ etc for the their kids to pick them and me be left with stems?

Oh yes it was thanks for that thought it was the daffs, the neighbour the other side when I asked her she said she did not remember any tulips in the front last year so both her and myself have memory loss and getting so old we don't know what we are talking about:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I stand by I NEVER planted them though must have been the previous owners, did plant some supposedly cascading tiny little purple plants and they immediately died which has left me with a big empty hole next to the tulips, going into town there is a bungalow with a higher wall than mine and the front and they look fantastic, tried to re-create but they died:D also school boy error, left the rocket on the windowsill and the lettuce in it's container to grow but never thought to water them:rotfl: dead:rotfl:
