It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

pop on the techie forum will tell you to download and run both malwarebytes anti malware and hijackthis and post the logs, but they are very good at spotting things to help you speed your system up (if its possible of course)

Not after last time, but thanks anyway! I think it's just cos it's an old machine, 8 years, and has crap specs. The big problem seems to be Firefox anyway, it keeps crashing. I should be getting a new one before too long anyway.

I has and am loving a new gadget :D
A free electricity usage monitor from when I changed leccy companies, it arrived this morning.
I plugged in the George Formby grill for my bacon and the usage nearly doubled

Eeek, I didn't realise they used so much power! I use mine all the time.

    Mmm bacon sarnie...

I want scabby turtles, but my potatoes are a bit green and sprouty so I have to peel them. next time I get fresh ones I'll have a go!

On the subject of food, someone a while ago said a recipe that involved sliced potatoes and pouring over eggs and baking it, but I can't remember the full thing? I'm determined to eat cheaply this month and use up all the stuff in the freezer and cupboards so I've got room to do some serious batch cooking.

Yay, sister's booked us in for haircuts this afternoon at the college and it's half price day - £3 for a new cut! Hopefully they can sort hers out too, she tried to cut it herself yesterday and put layers in, it didn't quite work...

Back from the psych, it was really positive and she's just tinkering with my meds. She's discharging me for now too, but I can go back if I have problems. It was a good chat and really productive I think.

Oh, and can I say I've found THE most annoying place on your body for a spot. Right in the crease between the little toe and the one next to it. It'd driving me mad!

Oooh sounds good, would any stock do? I think I've only got veggie. I suppose I could chuck in sliced veg as well (I've got some courgettes that need using up)?

    That was me...

par boil potatoes, fry off some onion and bacon, mushrooms if you want... grate some cheese

in ovenproof dish layer up potatoes, bacon, onions, mushroom, cheese etc (you can add what you want - we've had tinned sweetcorn, courgettes, tomatoes....) whisk up some eggs and splash of milk, season and pour over potatoes etc and pop in a hot oven until egg is fully cooked... If you fancy, you can use cheese sauce instead of the eggs to ring the changes, or even blitz up some tin tomatoes, add puree, herbs or chilli flakes to use as the sauce...

I wouldn't freeze it with the egg, but the cheesy or tomato one would freeze fine...
