Hello all. Fed up-car poorly and gone to garage, still there (I sat for 3 hours FREEZING-not any anything to eat or drink) and its going to cost £416 to fix. £416 I DONT HAVE, so will have to put on DH CC and add that to the £300 I already owe him...!!!!!!.
Trying not to get fed up, but I am.
Had to go to the outlaws to borrow a key because I forget to get my house key when left at garage and MIL TOTALLY blanked me-lkiterally turned her backl, didnt say hello, anything. We are supposed to be going away in 2 weeks and spend 3 weeks in the same house-I will have to say something or will thump her.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Luc - I apologise in advance for this question, but how do you make cheese sauce please? I am loving the sound of the recipe you gave to Ames, but I have to stay away from eggs as I have an intolerance to them.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

On the plus side you have a job you are looking forward to starting and will be earning enough to pay him back over time xBunnyinthelights wrote: »Had to go to the outlaws to borrow a key because I forget to get my house key when left at garage and MIL TOTALLY blanked me-lkiterally turned her backl, didnt say hello, anything. Is it a long standing problem? If it is you may just have to mentally set her aside and focus on enjoying the holiday and the time with your lovely husband and adorable kids26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Morning Bunny - I have a question for you too!
Is there anything you can recommend for my daughter's skin problems. She keep getting horrible outbreaks of spots and whiteheads on her chin. She uses Clearasil and tea tree oil, and I am wondering if the stuff she uses is too harsh for her or even whether she is using too much stuff. She is 22.

Thanks
My mum's allergic to eggs so I totally get it - I even managed to source a recipe for eggless tiramisu...
Cheese sauce - make a roux by whisking together equal quantities of plain flour and butter while heating. Once blended to a smooth stiff paste cook slightly to get rid of floury taste then add milk a bit at a time, whisking between additions until smooth again, until all milk used then let boil until thickened, take of heat and stir in grated cheese until all melted (you can use any cheese you like - a stronger, more mature cheese needs less to give a good cheesy flavour than a mild cheese).
Some people swear by the all in one method - chuck flour, milk and butter in pan in a oner and whisk like mad until done then cook to thicken and add cheese as above.
I end up with limps doing it this way so its personal preference and at the end of the day if you get lumps you can sieve them out so not a disaster.
And fot those who can't have flour - half pack of philly and about a half pint of milk heated until philly all melted then add hard cheese as above26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073
