Hi Tenmah,
I am not a fan of Clearasil-that stuff is like paint stripper.
Spot on and around the chin is generally a sign of a hormonal issue and most of the time topical treaments can help but it may be worth her talking to her Dr.
I am a big believer in being gentle and kind to the skin instead of trying to dry the bejesus out of spots. Tell her to CEASE and DESIST on the Clearasil-it dries the skin so much it will force the skin to make EXTRA oil to compensate therefore compounding the problem. Tell her to get a milk foamy cleanser (like that L'oreal one that is advertised-for DRY sensiteve skin-its pink) and a light oil free moisturiser, anyone will be fine I am sure. Needn't be expensive. Tea tree is ok, but again, quite strong-only maybe apply to the actual spot if it is a whopper! Do not use toothpaste or any other rubbish things people suggest, they just burn the skin.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

Excellent advice, thanks Bunny. I will pass it onto her and hopefully it will sort things out for her, as she gets really embarrased by it.OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

If you want the tiramisu recipe I'll dig it out for you. I'm always on the lookout for eggless recipes for Mum. She's allergic to chicken too so we use turkey a lot instead of chicken.26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Sorry Luc, another couple of questions! When you say par boil the potatoes, how long should I give them one they have come up to boil, and can this dish be prepared and then put in oven when required, or should it be put in straight away?
That would be great if you could find the Tiramisu recipe, but don;t worry too much as it might be too advanced for me!OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

Once boiled give them 5-7 minutes so when you put a knife in them they still have a firm centre. Don't worry too much about it if they are over cooked though - I have made this with leftover boiled potatoes and its fine;)
You can prepare it in advance. Give it about 30mins in the oven at 180 -200C to make sure its hot through (leftovers make lush sandwiches next day....)
Tiramisu is all stirring and layering so you should be fine;)26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

I've had spots for the best part of 15 years and I definitely agree on keeping away from the Clearasil and similar harsh stuff. I'm using this facewash at the moment - http://www.nelsonsnaturalworld.com/en-gb/uk/our-brands/nelsons-pure-clear/ - with a bit of this - http://www.quashme.com/ on problem patches (yes it's meant to be hand sanitizer but it's really gentle) and tea tree oil only on really bad big red sore spots.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
