Suggested that on post 6 but not sure if ops reading them all.

Yes I have retrieved his info; it provides elements of his address; area city and post code but not the full address. It also gave me his phone number but I don't really want to talk to him. I've corresponded by email with him he knows where I stand. The only thing I haven't done as suggested by Kestrel is email ebay. I'll try that as well shortly.

    Definitely don't pay for it!

I would wait for the seller to send you the money to return it, and if they don't do that, then just store it until they send you the cost for returning it.

DO NOT PAY!!! (as you will end up out of pocket)

Did the seller send it recorded?

No there was no tracking or return address on the parcel.

The seller has opened a unpaid dispute against me. I've tried to respond to it and email Ebay, in both instances its asking a few questions including on what date I paid for the item, obviously I having not paid for it, so it wont let me pass this stage. Does anyone have a direct email address which doen't ask such questions.

Even if you paid for the item now, the seller did not send it tracked so there is no proof of you ever receiving the item.

So anyway pay for it, then open a item not received dispute. So once opened you will win it as the seller has no proof of ever sending it.

You then win the dispute, get refunded, then leave negative feedback.

    OR

    Don't pay then you'll get a strike.

You obviously don't understand how paypal works. If he pays for it then opens a SNAD. He returns the item and will be refunded his money except the return postage

OPr he doesn't pay and gets a strike. It depends how important his ebay accoint is to the OP or if he has any strikes before as if he gets 2 he will be unable to but much off ebay

Only if the seller accepts it, and the op has pod.

Its got nothing to do with the seller. Paypal will force him to refund. As long as the OP sends the item back tracked and it proves delivery even if the seller refused to accept the delivery this is marked on the RM system and is enough for paypal to rule in the buyers favour. Attempted delivery is enough for paypal. So the seller can refuse but it wont help their case . The op will be refunded

Emails to the seller & buyer contacting ebay would be proof that she received the item I would have thought.
