Rach Congratulations! I had spotted something on my boardtrawling which I sometimes do, so I had suspicions too, but guessed you would say on here when you wanted to (or I'd missed it and then didn't want to look silly :p:o). It's great news, lots of hugs!

Sandy I know telling your OH is a horrible thing to have to do, and I'd guess it makes it more real and therefore more scary, but he will want to know. Lots of strength and love sweetie, you've had some great advice already from people on here.

I've done most of the list, just need to vacuum and that probably won't get done til Wednesday now, busy day at uni tomorrow.

    Love to everyone

Congratulations Rach - lovely news. I had a cuddle with a newborn today and my broodiness is back to stratospheric (sp) levels.

    Miss H. Happy Birthday!

Chickenpox is a horrible illness. DS3 had it this time last year and was as ill as I have ever seen any of my children. He is terribly pock marked and took 6 months to regain the weight he lost and to get his strength back. He was off school for 3 weeks. DD2 got it exactly 17 days later and was back to playschool after a week. She was only kept off as we had an immuno-suppressed child. DS2 has bypassed it when DD1 and DS1 got it in 1999 (He was 1) and he missed it again last year - I guess he must have strong immunity.

Not much flying done today. Bad case of SOAADFA. I was still doey eyed about the newborn:o

    How???

Mine were breastfed and 15 weeks old and 17 weeks old.. and the one who had it at 15 weeks got measles at 17 weeks!!!

DS1 was 8 months old.. he was COVERED.

DS3 was quite ill but DS2 I didn't even know he had it.. he had not one on his face but his body and arms and legs were covered. It wasn't until bath night I realised he had it at all.. 2 weeks later.. 11 out of the 22 in his class had it.. plus my brother and 4 of my brood.. inc. DD3 who was 15 weeks!.. They were all off school but only as it was Easter. DD1 was GUTTED she had to miss her dance class show as her legs were covered.. if they hadn't been I'd have let her go.. she started the Thursday as they finished School Friday for Easter.. the show was Saturday... .ooh 9 years ago exactly!

    Congratulations to rach!

    Hugs to Sandy.

Just wanted to let you know that my exit interview tomorrow will be at either 8 or 8.15am!!!! No chance of a lay-in tomorrow then. Please could you send some posi-vibes my way, as still feeling very nervous about telling the governor what has been going on.

Decluttered my trundle of paperwork that I no longer need this evening, so some flying done. Off to Mr T in a minute to get the cooking ingredients for school.

Better get going, as I want to be back in time to watch Ghost Whisperer in bed at 9pm if I can stay awake throughout it.

    All my love,

    sexymouse xx

Sending you knock-em-dead, tell-'em-as-it-is exit interview vibes for tomorrow sexym.

Just remember, you have the upper hand. It's YOU that has handed in YOUR notice. It's YOUR decision. You've not been sacked or anything like that. That's all you need to say, really.

But, if they probe tell them how it's been, honestly, dispassionately (if you can!) and factually so that hopefully other probationers don't have to go through what you've had to put up with in the last few months. I'll be there with you in spirit hun xxx

My next sister and I (this was the 60s remember) had the lot
    mumps
    measles
    german measles
    chickenpox

and my mum would put the littlest sister in with us to catch it all
    AND SHE NEVER DID
she had her first cold at
    16!

(Both she and my mum have some kind of heightened immunity*shrug*)

(Mind you THEY both have high blood pressure. My closest (in age that is, I'm the eldest) sister and I have BP that's low - I have panicked hospital staff beofre now when mine has plummeted after anaesthetic so much so they have put me on permanent BP monitoring while in labour and thought I was going into shock post-op on another occasion)
