*in comes the most evil parent ever*
DD3 broke the zip on her boots this morning so I took her for new shoes after school.. while we were there we had everyone else checked.. Tiiddles needs new boots
DS3.. his trainers.. they were in bits and hehad not said, plus he was well out of them.. so we got new ones... first, they didn't have any in red, then they only had black/silver so of course they were really hurting.. they were fine.. thenthey brought out some in the wider fitting the same and a blue pair.. well he went hysterical.. crying and screaming and limping and wailing.. apparently they are just too tight and feel like they have sticky suckers on the bottom so he can't lift his feet off the ground and they have holes so the rain can come in.
Then he complains when we go in and don't buy him new shoes!!!
He proceeded to scream ALL the way home from the shoe shop and for about an hour after we got home!!
I HATE buying him anything!!
I also know when we go for his next pair (in September) I'll be going through it all over again.. drama queen!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

However, DS2 has not got his first choice school, but second choice and am now unsure whether to keep him at this allocated school.
their is a lot to think about - ofsted reports, travelling time, both finish at the same time, whether his nursery friends are going to this school.......
It's a tough one. Do you think you'd have a chance, appealing against the decision? I'd consider the practicalities and maybe try to talk to parents/children who already go to the school.0
