Yes I do and have done for years, normally when I'm baking as I'm a bit of a messy pup.I have three ,one of which I have had for almost thirty years .

I have a couple of plain cotton bib aprons hanging up in the kitchen. I tend to find that when I wear one of them for cooking etc it is perfectly clean when I come to take it off - so it seems a bit pointless wearing it. However, when I don't wear an apron, that is when I spill something or splatter my clothes. It seems as if wearing an apron makes me less careless!

Yes, I am like that. I have a pvc apron which I will put on to do some cooking or something, take off when I have finished only to find the apron is absolutely spotless however, when I don't wear one I can guarrantee I will splash my top with something that stains like tomato or something.
I have ruined too many tops so I tend to wear my pinny for most potentially messy jobs.

I have 2 cooking aprons. They come in handy if and when cake batter goes flying or greese decides to spit at me when I fry something. I don't use any for cleaning though. Just throw on some old clothes so even if I spill some cleaner on me..i won't mind.

I have a confession to make - I ordered two patterns online the other day for some really nice frilly aprons, and a 1940's style. One of the patterns arrived and I'm awaiting the 1940's one. I have loads of fabric to choose from and can't wait to get started. DH reakons I have an apron fetish now..lol

I follow a strict schedule of house chores on a daily basis. I live alone in a small flat so 20-30 minutes ad day does it I don't really create a lot of dirt etc. . For wet tasks such as washing, mopping etc, I wear a PVC apron, and latex gloves.

I have an apron I got from a garden centre - PVC on the back, cotton on the front - loads of pockets including a mobile phone one. I can wear it when gardening, cooking, everything - and I do -I just need to adjust the neckstrap a bit.

I'm forever going from one thing to another with my boys, so keeping my clothes clean is quite useful - but I have been known to go on the school run with it still on!!
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.
