I am 31 and I love my aprons
I have about 5, but my 2 faves are ones my Nanny used to wear and I love wearing them. They are proper old, vintage ones and I feel there is something really special and homely about wearing an apron, especially wearing my Nan's ones knowing that she used to wear them everyday - might sound sad but that's the sentimental side of me coming out
From a practical point of view, they are a godsend, I get flour everywhere when I bake, and usually have a 3 year old "helping" me, so it definitely helps! She has 2 aprons too and cant wait to get them on :rotfl:I am starting a new generation of apron wearers!
I even have a special craft apron that I wear when doing messy stuff with her and it is the one I used to take to school for me Home Ec/Craft/Art classes - that's recycling for you

I don't wear one - though having baked bread today - I probably should! Somehow my black clothes look distinctly floury!0

I wear loose cotton tops that were made for me in India, kalmaar shameez. I find them big enough to go over my clothes, long enough to catch all the drips and being cotton easily washed.0

I wear a PVC domestos apron, pink and flowery, got it free with a couple of bottles of bleach ages ago, wear it for cooking and cleaning all the time, saves my clothes! I am 37 by the way. My Mum has always worn one, she is 62 now:j Started my weightloss journey, its neverending!! :j

I have a different pvc apron which I use for cooking and baking, I just prefer to use the domestos ones for cleaning. I like to pocket at the front very hand when cleaning.0
