I should as I'm as messy as a baby but I don't (would feel a little silly), I do use old knickers and tshirts as dusters/cleaning cloths though, don't wear thongs......................:p"You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0

I wear aprons to cook, wash up etc and keep them on to eat as I'm very messy eater. 2 of mine came from ikea, love the design, some were promotional from a wine merchants (Dad used to work for them). I also have a tabbard I wear when cleaning, helps me get in the right frame of mind, well somethings got to.
DS, 4 years has an apron he wears when he bakes, he generally chooses not to wear one when cooking though, need to work on this.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

I wear mine for washing up as otherwise I end up with a wet line across my belly - very attractive. I need to wear it for longer cleaning and cooking sessions as well as I am so clumsy0

I don't usually wear aprons, but wore one that was free with a mag recently. My two teenage sons thought it was very funny

I have a couple of plain cotton bib aprons hanging up in the kitchen. I tend to find that when I wear one of them for cooking etc it is perfectly clean when I come to take it off - so it seems a bit pointless wearing it. However, when I don't wear an apron, that is when I spill something or splatter my clothes. It seems as if wearing an apron makes me less careless!0

I have 2 with matching oven gloves, (pink and flowery, and pink spotty!!) I get huge micky takes out of mine when friends are round but I love them....
Have a collection of kiddy ones too, spesh the wipe clean .. Ohh and eldest DD has a chefs outfit complete with hat which she loves to wear in the kitchen.... hmmm posting this I think I may be a bit nerdy in the kitchen ... ohh well!!!
Has gone to play on her own little world for a bit..... but its ok the voices in her head came too so she's not alone

I have the domestos pvc one (occasionally worn for messy jobs) but I realise I could save myself a lot of stained tshirts if I wore an apron, I'm a messy cook!
I find the pvc ones a bit stiff for normal use so I've bought a couple of full aprons made of fabric, both have lovely big pockets. :j Now its just a case of remembering to put it on! ... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

I bought my first apron today, reduced to £2 in Tesco. I'm just waiting for the 'old woman' comments from OH.0

I always wear an apron with a nice big pocket in the front to stick those bits you pick up as you go, you know the odd sweetie wrapper. I also am very guilty of having my polish and a cloth in there, yes I have turned into my mother

Don't be mean, buy him one too! My OH has his own aprons
One for the garage - carpenter style, very useful pockets etc like my dad & grandad had to potter in.
One for the kitchen - because if he wants to 'help' he can do so without doubling the laundry :rolleyes:I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0
