It's so quiet isn't it! The vienetta was yum and soothed my sore throat momentarily - i couldn't bring myself to eat a whole one (even for medicinal purposes) so the other half is safely tucked up in the freezer, i hope!

Wow tortoises are amazing - i've just been reading up about the legalities and how to care for them pre/post hybernation, they're incredible things. I so want one now!!!

Lol Em, that is exactly how I got about them. I researched mine for about a year before I actually got them last March. I got Russian torts as you don't need a licence etc for them, but you have to make sure you get them from a breeder as pet shops etc are renowned for selling illegally imported ones. They are very cute and lift their heads to let you tickle their chins :rotfl:

Well done Jo on the blog thing, it's all very exciting!

I've had yet another lazy day today. I did a bit of tidying and managed to drag myself outside to put some bulbs in the front garden, but that's been about it. I watched 3 - yes 3 - Carry On films this morning and then lots of rubbish since then. And I revamped my farm on Farmville, which was much more interesting than the real jobs I had on my list :p

My niece is doing really well with her blog - she has written a post about my cats and how much she loves them which is amazing as she isn't by nature exactly an animal lover. Her brother on the other hand is a natural - I think he may be a vet when he grows up. I hope so!

I shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.
