Mabel - i think it's great how you've described the merkins, you've made them sound pretty and delicate. There was one thing that struck me (and this may just be me as i don't know much about making jewellery) but it was the word lobster. Like i say i'm no expert, but i wasn't sure that this enhanced the product, as in my head it has more negative connotations. Otherwise, i think you've done a fab job

I must admit I did think do I really want a part of a crustacean associated with 'that' are but thats what they are called!
