My family thinks I’m a nutter when I say I hate the conventional 9-5 job, but I just can’t do it!

Nor can I - are we rebels or free-thinkers?

Both - I cant work for other people, I get itchy feet at jobs way too quickly, when in employment my average job length was just 8 months before I moved jobs. I loved all 3 teams of people I worked with, 3 great bunches of guys however there was just something in me that wanted more than the 9-5.

Worked for myself since december 2008, I have never been happier!

  • Laura - DON'T DO IT! If you really want books, then I know a place that will do you an entire pallet for that much. Hardbacks are harder to sell because of the mammoth postage charges. Trust me, I have 50 boxes of the bl00dy things! You can instantly write off the hardbacks and the novels for the bootsale, whatever you have left after that is probably all that will sell on Amazon or similar, and trust me, for the effort and amount of time involved, it really isn't worth it. I bought 78 boxes (over 3000) for £88 including delivery and am having trouble selling enough! If you have the space and the time, then by all means look into it, but I have neither (well not enough of either tbh). If you do have the time and the room, PM me and I will give you the details of somewhere to get them from a lot cheaper than that.

  • ok, scratch that, just gone upstairs and found DD1 has pulled out the sofa bed and put her quilt on it and fallen asleep, wondered why it had all gone quite! Books are in there too! Poke me later and remind me!

Edit: Just realised that makes me sound like a bad mother! She has run of the house and is poorly and I have just spent half an hour on the phone to the passport office, she wandered off while I was on the phone, was expecting her to be mucking about in the bathroom as usual!
