Have you planted your seeds yet Jo? Which ones did you get? I've had courgettes, carrots, salad, basil and something else i think - not done anything with them yet as it's all new to me, not really sure where to start or what would be best to plant them all in. I guess some trays initially? It probably says on the packs but they're in the kitchen and i can't be bothered to get up - so lazy today.

I'm considering planting some stuff in pots on my terrace, but not sure if it's worth it by the time I've bought pots, compost etc, plus I'm crap at raising seeds.

A colleague at work gave me some potatoes to plant in a pot, so i've done that but i'm not holding out much hope for them. That sounds lovely Amber - planting on the terrace in Bareclona :)

ooohhh is it warm enough to have a citrus or even a little olive tree in a pot?? I would love a lemon tree....

I am back.... been a lazy weekend apart from yesterday trying to sort out the bottom of the garden.... little digger we hired wasn't big enough, needed to be about 4 times the size:eek: So off to ebay I go with more rubbish to raise funds for a man with a digger for the day....

OH has now left for the week, home alone (quite nice!!) with two kids off school (not quite nice!) with work to do and kids to entertain.... hhmmmm could be an intersting fortnight...

I have managed to sort out skype, got a proper phone for it so all my ebay accounts and website will have this new number, not my home phone. I had to spend a little but it works out a lot less than having a line installed.

a few sales over the weekend but I have had an item returned as well so thats a bit of a bummer.....

more seed sowing this week hopefully...

nah, no probs really... I set up the skype cos I didn't want weirdos calling at all hours. The return was due to a mark on the dress that I didn't notice when I sent it. Buyer is totally okay with it, just need to do a refund and relist as a second....

Evenstar - can you send him down to me for a few weeks? He could probably sort out my garden for me!!! Proper old school MSE!!

Em, most of them are for sowing mid april or later so don't worry that you haven't done anything yet. have seen seeds sown in egg shells that they then just cracked and planted. so maybe a use for your duck egg shells. we've done them in yoghurt pots before and used a little tool that you can make seed pots out of newspaper. which then just get planted outside when they are ready.
some of the ones we got can be planted outside straight away too.
The seed packets are right next to me for some reason and have good clear info on them about what to do so don't worry.
