Evening everyone! Just popping my head in to say a quick hello, I've promised myself I won't be dribbling much as I really really need to get some stock run up and I can't do that and blether on here at the same time!!

Hi Nixi, it wasn't a big thing just exciting to me.
A well established blog that I have always enjoyed and admired just put up a list of 101 inspiring posts and my opening our hearts post was one of them. she's also been retweeting me on twitter.
she has over 600 followers and had lots of blogs to choose from for her list so I was really chuffed.

Where has everyone been hiding this weekend? Has their been sunshine or something that I have missed?

Hasd a lovely weekend, spoilt myself and made an amazing friend, thats two now thanks to this thread. Still back to reality tomorrow, have to catch up on some listing, my house is a minefield of junk and boxes!

Jo- did you manage 101? Forgot, congrats on the list, you are an truly inspirational person and deserve it!

Joey - I love your little tortoises, they are adorable, no more pets for me, however that doesn't stop me ogling over yours!

Em - I am poorly too, can I have the other half?

Mambury - thankyou muchly for the links, strawberries are a firm fav here and poundland had some hanging baskets in, so perfect, no point planting in the garden, if the neighbours carry on I am moving and I am not planting them to feed the next tennant, they need to be portable!

am so tempted to go looking up about tortoises but being restrained and holding out for Em's duck blog for my animal reading!!

you can get barrels for planting strawberrys
you need to keep birds off them by covering them with net

Mummyandpaige glad you had a lovely weekend and that you and Munchki got on well.
Think we got to about 85 uses for a pencil last night - not bad considering how quiet it was on here!
