some people may view it as an "attack" and that's their right, but others may view it as disseminating information. that's your view, and you're perfectly entitled to express it, but there is another, equally valid, but opposite view.

i agree that people who've never been there shouldn't "attack" it though.

Agreed. As far as I can see, only OP has actually had the experience of eating there....

If you can't, then you and the OP must have a similar IQ.
Since when has an adult been a child?

But the payment is for the meal, not related to the age of the person eating it? (unless its a specified 'childrens meal deal')

Well I know I wont ever eat there now as its not to far from me . So negative reviews are definatetly more remembered than positive ones . It was terrible service you recieved and having worked in Catering for a long time myself I find the story horrendous on how you got treated there is no excuse for it . As a few minor mistakes may have slightly been acceptable , but you experienced non stop terrible service .

I would post in the local paper whilst also in the Manchester Evening News , you neve rknow more people may write in with their complaints also , or better still you may get some kind of refund from the place .

Mistakes happen. It's how they're dealt with when they do that's important - and there's no excuse for non-stop terrible service as you say.

Which to be fair, in these 'cheap and cheerful' hellholes, is clearly stated.
You tried to get a freebie and was rumbled.

For 12 people, that must be the cheapest meal on the planet.

Did you get knives and forks?

    Have to disagree here.

In my experience there are many much cheaper meals to be had. My local pub does a carvery at £3.99 a head which is excellent. A local
Chinese resturant offers an all you can eat buffet at £6.99 a head
which is absolutely superb, and both places give excellent service with very pleasant staff.

I really cannot understand how the OP who ordered a two for one meal
was trying to get a freebie. The deal was for two meals, which she paid for. so they were hers to do as she liked with. I have frequently taken a grandchild for a two for one meal and never never had a problem.

The Manchester Evening News may not be interested in the story but it sounds like the kind of story This Is Kent may be interested in...
