Oh sweetie, you poor thing :grouphug:

I know you're not comparing still being in debt to what Taxi has to face, but this is an especially tough one - you were able to spend a bit recently, and live more in tune with what your actual salary is, and here you are supposed to celebrate that you're "only" ten thousand pounds in debt. Its crap, deeply deeply so. And this time, of course, you've reached a debt-free milestone without OH, who had your back for so many years. And thats tough on so many levels I can't list them.....

But I, and many other posters and lurkers on here, want you to have your life back, and going sub-£10k is one more step on the road - in fact, thats why you feel so bad, isn't it, its *just* one more step on the road.

You had a latte this morning - methinks the time has come for another.....:grouphug:

Just another month in the life of a DFW!

    :D

If that happened to me in a month, I would be debt free, have the beginnings of a house deposit and pay for a 5* holiday to New York! :rotfl:
 Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!

Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!

How do you amass £70k in a year?!

Hypno, know what you're saying re taxi ...and I get really hacked off at myself for thinking 'Oh I'd love some new clothes' when there are folk living on the absoulte breadline not so far from me but as my friend who has had proper depression says 'other peoples situations have no bearing on your happiness' and only you can sort your own situ...which you absolutely are doing so WELL DONE. Wallow for a few days then give yourself a talking to and on we go! You are doing brilliantly..I on the other hand have had a really expensive start to the month and have only made minimum payments for the last 2 months. Aargh!

tenmeh, of course you may post more - all welcome!!

Still weepy - it is just like someone turned on the taps and they just won't stop. I have spent a fair bit of time with my head down so no one talks to me today, and an equal amount of time hiding in the ladies.....must get a grip, really must.

So, ski club this evening for DS to train, but I don't feel like being there myself, so will take laptop and lurk on here I think.

Its not just the debt, although it forms part of every day life for me, it is life in general. Just feel pants. But it will pass.

Right, off to grab some food quickly before turning round and heading out again.

Thank you guys, I love you all x
