Sorry you have been having a crappy time x
One thing my DD is doing at the moment, which is working really well for her given that she has had to cope with her Dad leaving, and her GCSEs starting next week, is that she writes down 5 positive things that have happened each day.
She says it helps her focus on the good things, even if it is just "it didn't rain today", or "My cat loves me".....
She says that she thought about writing a diary, but would then be more inclined to put the negative stuff in, and she doesn't want to be negative. so by having to think about what is positive, she remembers that actually things are not so bad.
She has been keeping this up for several weeks now and writes it just before bed every day.
*delurks*
I do that tooI have 3 positives things and two people I am grateful for, I keep it in a special book and write it before I go to sleep.
It helped a lot last night - had a !!!! day!
xxxxxNevertheless she persisted.0 -
((hugs)) to all those having a crappy time at the moment. It WILL get better x
Bunny, welcome home - I know you have had a crappy start to being home, but I hope you had a fantastic few weeks away with lots of happy memories made x
Today is Friday - what more can I say! Another week almost done! Banking and scratching to be done next.......
I hope you all have a good day xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
The positive idea is really great, I think I will give that a try too - not feeling really down, but just so much going on I just can't seem to focus and complete one thing and that may give me a boost
(((((hugs to those that need it))))))))))
Thank crunchie its Friday and a long weekend, DS has a black belt grading on sunday (only 10 so a "cadet" black belt but scary all the same ), so if I'm not on here much, hope you all have a good one.0 -
Good luck with the grading - my two did it for years, so I am with you on the whole nerves thing! I am sure DS will do you proud
