I've been thinking about this today. I started back to ww and have noticed how much better I feel for eating properly again, I'm ashamed to admit that I can easily go a day without any fruit or veg passing my lips!! I think you having gone to ww over the last few weeks may have helped you to manage everything life has thrown at you lately! Along with many other things too including the support you've had on here. Many would have hit the misery/starvation diet but by watching closely what you've been eating has maybe contributed to you hitting everything straight on. Keep at it you are doing great!0

Well, for the first two or three weeks after OH told me that he was leaving, I was definitely on the misery/starvation diet, but then I got worried that when I started eating again I would binge as I have done in the past. So I thought that by going back to WW, I would get some control over *something* in my life, plus I would have more chance of eating healthily again.
So, it is partly a "needing to be in control" thing, that is providing the good feeling as the weight drops off!
But I def am sleeping a bit better, feel and look a bit better, and even my boss said I looked more relaxed today for the first time in a long time, so perhaps the dark circles are fading around my eyes and the haggard look is shifting a tiny bit!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. haha, nothing like *that*. I am just lucky enough to work for someone who genuinely cares for his employees and their families - there aren't many of those bosses around nowadays!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Well, so far it is more like looking out onto a tidy driveway - they haven't started the "proper" garden yet, but it is a big difference already.
Yep, definitely sounds good.

Almost the end of the week and another day survived. Nothing to report, no exciting stuff happening in my life, and no riches being thrown at me! Same old, same old!

I've a way to go yet but those baby steps are helping me move in the right direction.
As for the cunning plan, I hope it comes to fruition!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
