Me too .... I'd normally go to my sister's and drive up there from East Grinstead, but she'll be in Hull, watching her son graduate. I'll keep her company if she wants, or she might prefer her mother in law as the representative of her husband, so to speak .... or of course, the spreadbetting will be on fire, and I'll be in the best 5 star hotel in Norwich :D

Any tips for positive thinking hypno? Not having the best time at the moment :(

Sorry you have been having a crappy time x

One thing my DD is doing at the moment, which is working really well for her given that she has had to cope with her Dad leaving, and her GCSEs starting next week, is that she writes down 5 positive things that have happened each day.

She says it helps her focus on the good things, even if it is just "it didn't rain today", or "My cat loves me".....

She says that she thought about writing a diary, but would then be more inclined to put the negative stuff in, and she doesn't want to be negative. so by having to think about what is positive, she remembers that actually things are not so bad.

She has been keeping this up for several weeks now and writes it just before bed every day.

You're welcome. You are doing really well, SF, with your huge lists every day. Things will settle down - you are trying to do so many things right now, that maybe losing weight, or whatever else is feeling crappy just isn't right at this particular moment in time. but it will happen, just all in good time x
