Clearing the clutter is very theraputic. The garden work will be well worth it. The views will be very satisfying.:j

I cleaned all the kitchen cupboards out at the weekend. Unfortunately dh can't find anything now. Shame!:T

I was hoping to get out in the garden on Monday, but the weather doesn't look as though it will be possible.

After wolfing two Mars Bars down yesterday I need all the exercise that I can get!! I was a possesed! Tut tut. Maybe I should look on the internet to see if they have such a thing as chocolate anonymous!

    Keep up the good work

Hello Hypno :) Not visited for a while and unsurprisingly you are coming on in leaps and bounds with the spring cleaning and the weight loss.

You should have took some before and after pictures for us to indulge in.

Well done on the weight loss and the garden clearance. I'm sure it will make a big difference. Like everyone says you really do need to let yourself 'feel' those moments and be kind to yourself.

I'm trying to declutter but have been frustrated by a lack of charity bags lately, you can bet when I do get them it will be when I have no time to fill them, lol!

I've failed twice to get rid of a table on freecycle, I think its cos it is solid wood and doesn't come apart. It has a few scratches but it is in really good condition. Part of me doesn't want to get rid of it because it is so good compared to modern stuff but I just don't have the room for it. Plus I already have another smaller table which fits my dining room better. And I really need to declutter to 1 make the house easier to manage and 2 for my sanity. I am just pondering if by some strange law of finance/reverse psychology if I would have better luck by trying to sell it.

I might give that a go on the weekend.

I spoke to her on the phone just last weekend.......it's just sorting out the time etc to meet up now that she lives so much further away from me!

Thats good ... wave to her for me. I'm going to be in north Norfolk in July, but its all family biz, with no time for me to slope off to Norwich for a cuppa tea...

Well, so far it is more like looking out onto a tidy driveway - they haven't started the "proper" garden yet, but it is a big difference already.

KC, if you do find yourself with time to pop into the City, when you are in Norfolk, please do!

Almost the end of the week and another day survived. Nothing to report, no exciting stuff happening in my life, and no riches being thrown at me! Same old, same old!
