Pen's phase 2 -the long debt slog and de-clutter

Hello Penelope....keep seeing you post on Moose and Choc's diary so thought i'd have a peek at yours!
Well done on all the decluttering! I have been on a bit of a mission this year too. Though i am usually quite throw away happy so it isn't too much of a mountain to climb. All i have left to do is OH's wardrobe, one box under the bed, go through our CD's and go through the kids toys. Toys shouldn't take too long as i did them 6 months ago.Orange Fairy

Hi Littlekel, de-cluttering makes me feel good (thankfully as we have a house full of hoarded tat!). Haven't managed much this week though, must get back to it.This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -

I'm lucky, they do understand. DH has already planned out what teas he can make from what we've got - unheard of in the old spend free days!
Can't moan, the sun is out and the family happy and well
Ahh bless your DH - think I need some of that to rub off on my OH! Although he is getting in to the idea of taking lunches/dinners that are batch cooked for work
Have a good day x0 -
Crumby day at work, everyone was in a really foul mood and we are just too busy to cope with that as well. Thankfully hometime came round quite quickly.
Then had a bit of a family emergency that needed seeing to, but everything is ok now.
So I've finally sat down for a bit of TV and have just remembered there's another pile of ironing to deal with
Might just have to ignore it!This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.

Sorry you had a crumby day at work - hope the relaxing evening (ignoring the ironing!) has helped. x0 -

Morning, I did ignore the ironing and we had quite a good family evening in which kind of made up for the day.
Hopefully a much better day to come - currently sat in my office staring at a cup of tea hoping to wake up a bit!
Have a good day all xThis time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.

Dont know whether to laugh or cry - I've just dropped my canteen vending key down the toilet and flushed it away. So not only have I lost about £4, I also can't get anything to eat until I go out at lunchtime (and I didn't have time for breakfast). Just not my week :rotfl:This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -
Apart from the key disaster, it was a nice quiet day at work and I got loads done. Home now and have just had DH's lovely chicken stew with fresh bread. It was scrummy.
After much thought I've decided to try and cut out the wine as my habit was getting out of control. I hate to think what damage it was doing to my health and my wallet and it certainly wasn't helping with my moods. So I'm trying for my third wine free day. The last two have been ok but I'm not so confident about tonight as Friday is normally my wine night (ok - I'll be honest every night has been wine night recently).
Already I am sleeping much better (although I'm hanging this evening for some reason) and I feel a lot calmer. So hopefully I can keep it going for a while. Two wine free days have saved me £8 so I'm going to keep a note of it to motivate me.
Have a good Friday night everyone, I'm having a cosy family night in.This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0
