I think a little bit of selfish would be a good thing here. After all, you would have been drinking the wine so it's only fair you give yourself something in return

Definitely make sure you save it to spend on yourself! It will make it more motivating not to drink wine then! :D Well done you x

Ok, ok - I'll start up a 'not wine' fund. But given that we are so skint at the moment I'll start by putting half the amount away each bottle iykwim :)

So I've hid £2 for last night.
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

Right I've just been on-line and transferred the money across now into one of my many empty savings accounts. Have a good day everyone x

Hey Pen, well done on cutting back on the wine :T Def put some money aside for yourself, a nice treat - maybe a facial or something like that. Bliss :)

My 'not wine' fund is slowly growing and it will be something for me, definitely girly as living with two males my life does become a bit male dominated at times.

Things are a bit hectic again at Pen towers. I've spent most of my day off running around, washing and ironing as usual so I'm just chillin for a bit before the next set of appointments this afternoon. Only small spends today, treated us to a newspaper for a change and had to get in more cat food becuase 1 tin isn't going to last until the grocery delivery tomorrow night.

I'm fretting as usual about money and jobs. I have my appraisal tomorrow and I'm not concerned about a pay rise, I just want to know my job is safe for the time being. I hate being the main wage earner at the moment but needs must, as least there's some money coming in.

I took advantage of the bodyshop glitch yesterday and have ordered loads of smellies for myself - something I never normally do but it was only £10 worth so I can take it from the grocery budget with worrying. I made sure everything was pink or really girly looking so that it doesn't get used up by the boys.

Not a lot else to report really, a few issues happening with school but nothing that we can't sort and DH has been chasing his promised redundancy and looking for another job so everything is progressing just more slowly than we'd like.

No de-cluttering today but I have blitzed DS room (and for someone who doesn't like science he seems to like growing food bacteria up there). It looks lovely now but I know darn well its going to be back to a pit by the end of the afternoon :(

Woohoo to the body shop bits! :D Definitly a good treat for yourself

I hope OH gets to find a job soon and sort out the redundancy...will be nice to take the pressure off of you a little bit.

The comment about DS not liking science made me laugh out loud!! :D

I hope you are having a productive day x

    Hi Pen

Well done on staying off the wine this week - you definitely have to treat yourself to something nice with some of the money.

Hope you're having a rest after your hectic day.
