The first of my body shop orders arrived so I've just had a nice bath with some vanilla stuff and have used one of the body butters - a pampered and girly start for me today.
Hopefully will be only a small spends day. We need to get a lock for one of our cupboards but thats all. I am determined that we are not going anywhere near a supermarket. (We haven't got anywhere to fit more groceries anyway).
DH is not too impressed that he will be having a lock to fit though - I've told him that's what happens at the end of the foottie season. All the jobs he couldn't fit in all year need catching up withThis time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -
Pap, the 'not wine' pot is now into double figures. At the moment I'm thinking of hair highlights (but I'll probably change my mind tomorrow).
Have a good day all xThis time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.

Not quite a NS day at Pen Towers. DS has lost yet another mobile phone so I remembered a voucher I'd been sent for one ages ago and it still had a few week's left before it expired. So DS now has my old phone and I have a nice shiny new one which only cost me £5. I would have got DS a new one but to be fair he's going to loose it again soon and he's very happy with what he's got as he wasn't expecting it.
Also bought a bargain eye cream as our local Mr T's has reduced to clear loads of decent branded beauty bits. The eye cream had over 50% off so I was very pleased.
Apart from that we've just lazed around all day. The weather is rubbish and I've put the heater on in the living room tonight its soo cold. Off now to find some decent pop in the fridge before the wine starts tempting me
Just realised I forgot to get the lock - must do that tomorrow (and pick up a bicycle pump for DS).This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -
LOL about OH and footie season. My OH doesn't like football which i am sooooooooooo relieved about!! I am dreading the world cup with loads of hooligan muppets embarrassing the country on telly!! OH and I love golf and Formula one. I only watch the golf majors so only 4 weekends a year and then 19 weekends for F1!! Glad we don't have to fit in F1 and football!!
Well done on the wine front you are doing really well!!
After your pampering i really fancy a bath!!!Orange Fairy

Hi Kel, I don't mind football tbh and it lets me have Saturday afternoons to myself during the season as DS enjoys it too. Its just in the summer they start to get bored. Know what you mean about the world cup louts though, looking forward to the games but not to the rest of it.
Off to a rugby presentation this afternoon and I'm the driver so that stops any thoughts of wine. Hopefully the weather will stay dry so the younger ones can go outside and mess around. Other than that I've a mountain of washing and ironing to get through. I am not very impressed that I've just found a pile of white school shirts stuffed down the back of the washing basket - which need to be washed and ironed for tomorrow  Somebody is going to be on washing up duty this week I think :rotfl:This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.

:rotfl: I'm a footy fan, but glad the season is over - its been the worst in my clubs history
But I won't bore you with that
Like F1 toowill miss the race today but I think it's recording.
I'm not looking forward to the world cup though, I think England always get over-hyped and then when they don't do well, people are disappointed for some reason?
Agree with Kel about the hooligans:mad: a small minority ruin it for true fans:mad:

Hello Pen, just popping in to say hi (well that's not strictly true, it's just taken me half hour to read all 7 pages :rotfl:).
I love your decluttering, I almost felt as though I should be joining youVery jealous of your 'Not Wine' fund
Have a lovely day.DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
Hi Jo and Anonymoose hope your Sundays were good.
I'm shattered now tonight. I've spent the last 3 hours doing housework and ironing - how rubbish is that on a Sunday.
I've prepared tea but am just waiting for the boys to come home to see if they'll do the cooking bit. I could quite happily nod off for an hour nowThis time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -
Bless you, have that little nap
My OH is footie fan, unfortunately with the world cup I don't even get a break from it  I don't mind it too much to be honest but I prefer to leave OH to it and like you say Pen gives you some time to yourself
.....it has it's benefits :rotfl:
Hope you have a restful evening xx0
