I couldn't believe it either Anonymoose - it was one of those slow motion type moments when you know its happening but you can't stop it. It was funny. This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -
oh dear on the key front!!! Sounds like something i would do!!!!!!
Good luck on the no wine. I can't sympathise with it being difficult as i only drink on nights out and i rarely go out anymore. In my grand old age of nearly 26i tend to go for a meal out rather than drinks. Though i may have the odd sminoff at MIL's BBQs!!!
Keeping a note of the money saved will hopefully be motivational!!! :j it's a great idea!!Orange Fairy

Morning Kel.
I'm being a miserable madam today, feeling a bit down as we are so skint. Just a tiny bit left until I get paid next weekend and you know what I'm like, I want to use that for one of the challenges.
The cupboards are full as usual and DS's pocket money fund has been topped up so we should be ok with a bit of creativity.
The boys have gone up the village to meet a friend for a couple of hours so I'm off to clear out another cupboard upstairs as I don't seem to be able to find my summer crops etc yet. Its all very well putting everything away at the end of each summer but sometimes I wish I wasn't quite so organised as I'm struggling to find it all this year!
I did do a small shop today to pick up milk, bread, apples and cat food so only a little spent (apart from a full tank of petrol the cost of which made my eyes water).
Hopefully a cheap and easy weekend now - there's plenty of free stuff to sort out around the house.
Have a nice bankholiday weekend everyoneThis time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -
Did half the decluttering I wanted to. Have found loads of ballet pumps and summer shoes (when I was just about to order another pair from Next - lucky find). But have no ideal where the crops are and the light fitting in my big cupboard won't work so its going to have to wait until its lighter again tomorrow.
DS is home and we're just waiting for DH to come in and cook tea for us (we are spoilt) for a family evening in watching Dr Who. Actually DH can't stand it and will be grateful to potter about in the kitchen whilst its on :rotfl:This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -
I hope you feel a bit brighter soon Pen. Hopefully the sun will shine for you to enjoy....i am sure the nice weather makes a hell of a lot of difference to how we feel.
Good luck with the sorting. I sorted all our paperwork boxes the other day and found quite a few things i need to sort out!! Thats how i came across the littlewoods previous statement saying i had up to the 15th to pay to save the interest!! Lucky i looked through the boxes really!!Orange Fairy

Haven't got into Heroes. Might have to try it as DS is always looking for new shows we can watch together. Poor old DH will have to sit through Casualty as well later (evens up all the football I put up with)This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -
We're so behind with Heroes, I think most of the sky box is Heroes and the rest is Flash Forward.
You're doing well with your sorting PenOH says we need to have a de-clutter and ebay/charity shop/throw things but I'm a hoarder and one day I may wear that 9 year old t-shirt again?

Anonymoose - I'm good at de-cluttering my stuff, but OH is the main hoarder in our house. He has more clothes, shoes and magazines than I do and hardly any of it is recent.
Had a lovely evening in last night, it was a really good laugh (and apart from a few twinges I can't say that I missed the wine too much). Up early this morning to drop DS in town with some family for a couple of hours then hopefully off to a friends tea time.
Wish the weather would brighten up though. This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0
