    Hey Lynz

just wanted to add my 'keep your chin up vibes' to you. I haven't posted much on here up until a couple of weekends ago and you were really supportive and helpful to me over losing my house (cos the boyf is moving away).

Things are still pretty pants here and will probably get worse before they get better for me but I am motivated by the courage and inspiration that people like you give me. You're a strong woman and we all have our down days but the good thing about you and people like you on this board is that I know you'll always kick butt at the 'down days' and come out fighting.

Life sets these little challenges to keep us on our toes.

    Big hugs xxx

Hi Lynz. It's obvious that you're so well-loved & respected by the group. I've just been reading through all the threads including yours & if it helps, I can see the fighter in you picking yourself up. :) I'm only a newbie & not used to posting but as well as a huge hug & pat on the back to you, I want to say how wonderful I think the other posters are too! Thinking of you all.

Hi Lynz, just wondered if you had looked into the Access to Work scheme that the government run? A friend of mine is in a similar position to yourself (has a job which she could do but wasn't able to get there as was in too much pain to make her own way there on public transport. The government basically contributes to the cost of a taxi to work and back every day (she just pays the amount it would have cost her on the train, and the government pays the rest). I don't know much more about it but she found out about it through Job Centre Plus. There's a link with more info -http://www.direct.gov.uk/DisabledPeople/Employment/WorkSchemesAndProgrammes/WorkSchemesArticles/fs/en?CONTENT_ID=4000347&chk=Pq8ETE
Just wondered if you had heard of it, and whether it was worth looking into, as for my friend it has basically meant the difference between being able to carry on working almost as normal, and losing her job altogether due to her health. Best wishes, Snaggles xx
