Sorry - that just made me laugh. I saw the last post and never twigged.
Big hugs for Lynz - hope you feel better today. The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0 -
Hi angel.
First rule of Sod's Law (in my experience) - NEVER say can things can't get any worse!
You're doing all the right things and no-one deserves double helpings of hard times. All I can say is that if it helps, you have got to
a)Be kind to yourself
b) Realise that inspite of everything you are a survivor!
c)Just as your life seems to you like it's going down fast, try & remember that it can come up again too - nothing stays in the same state forever. d) Contact your CAB, Social Services Adult Team & GP.
Please believe me - I am not belittling your problems & send big hugs to you.
In the last 8 months, I've had to fight agoraphobia, physical illnesses, my mum being moved into sheltered housing and is terminally ill, fighting DWP for DLA increase as I've gone from having a sore knee to using a cane to crutches in 8 months to within the not too distant future a wheelchair ( just approved yesterday!), also I have acute asthma and severe allergies, my darling dad dying at the beginning of December after an operation went wrong, we were burying him on 20th Dec. as my 41st birthday was on Christmas Day, my sister has had a breakdown so I'm dealing with all her finances (catastrophic!) and my own (we won't talk about me;) ), getting my 16 year old son through his GCSE's, have now started an application for a bungalow as my lovely little home won't accommodate my needs & can't be adapted, organising son's college course, my sister this week being diagnosed with epilepsy and I'm also having blurred and double vision and carpal tunnel syndrome in both arms which makes my hands go dead (not funny when you're using crutches at the time!):o and I haven't won the lottery!
Apart from that, I'm fine!!!;)
I'm sorry about all that you're going through and I apologise to everyone for the length of the thread. I wasn't telling you my story (a small part of it! ) to show that I've had a hard time, but to let you that I can empathise with you. There seem to be a lot of people here wishing you well angel & I've joined the queue. Don't give up - you're a fighter.

Awww Lynz I'm sorry your are having a rough time. But, I'm gad your feeling better today. Being in pain sucks, it drains you and wears you down, making everything else seem much worse. I really hope you can get the pain issue sorted soon. Strong pain relief is an option, even if you just took it at night time to help you get some sleep.
There are a few free music festivals going on this weekend, could you get to one of those and relax for a bit? It's going to be a little cooler today I think (I hope, I love summer but working is a nightmare, stages are hot places the best of times!).
If nothing else, spend the weekend babying yourself, don't try to be a hero. I do hope this bad patch passes soon. (((((((((((hugs))))))))))):A

Sorry to hear you're having such a tough time Lynz, it's horrible when you feel that life is ganging up on you. I know it will get better for you soon, you really deserve a run of good luck. I had the most horrendous 12 months a couple of years ago, and just felt like life couldn't get any worse (and guess what, just when you think it can't, it DOES!), but it wont last forever I promise! Take things one day at a time, and try not to let things get on top of you. I'm thinking about you xx"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Lynz, I've only just had the time to sit and read this post through, and I want to add my hugs to the pile You are the most hugged person on DFW!!!
Life goes through periods of being totally pants. This weather doesn;t help, nor does being in pain.
But YOU ARE STRONG. You will get through this. there is a great job out there for your OH.
Tell your lodger to go. Now. Just say he has to be out by the end of the weekend.
Don;t worry about your smear (easy said I know) - because it if is cancer, then worrying won;t change that. IF it is, then treatements are good, and you will get through it. Hardly anyone dies of cancer these days. I know this isn;t a cheerful thought, but that's the worst it could be, and it isn;t the end of the world because they can treat it. That's why they do smears. YOU WILL BE FINE. I know it.
Enjoy the concert - music is a wonderful healer and you'll be able to get lost in it and just enjoy for a while, which will be good for you.
I'm sending all my love and hugs to you honey. CHin up. Life WILL get better.
