Just wanted to add my:grouphug: to everyone elses. Ever since I have been reading these boards you have been an inspiration in terms of tackling money, and an all round nice person in terms of welcoming newbies and giving sound advice, so I really hate to think of you feeling so low.

We are off to that Ben & jerrys Sundae on clapham common where we get to see badly drawn boy Only cost us a fiver each as well. We did toy with selling them on ebay as theres people seling them for 30 a pair, but nah, we want to go We get free ice cream all day too

OH is feeling a bit more positive too, altohugh yesterday he got blown out for a job as he was "overqualified" . He said he didnt know whether to be flattered or insulted, he wants to work god damn it! and it would have been a payrise form his normal hourly rate of 400 pcm after tax :mad: So, hes emailed the agency back to say, hes not overqualified- could he be reconsidered? maybe its just that his CVs so good- I did it :A

I guess if weve had no luck by tuesday then we might as well go back to the his parents early, and eat thier food but also seeing the dogs and family makes us feel so much happier We are off to the beach house next monday, and its not far from their place, so we may as well get out of here.

Ive got a GP appointment on tuesday to hear about whats happening next with my treatment - so IM sure Ill want to get away after that.

Got the joy of a trip to the vets with the singing (hates the car!) ageing arthritic cat for his MOT, then Freecycling & tip-runs to try & clear my house a bit....how does one combine 2 x 3-bed houses into one with no loft (coz it's now an office!) whilst staying sane :mad: We've got 2 of almost everything, so we are playing the "well my pans are nicer than yours, but your cooker is better than mine" game at the mo!

Still should be all over bar the screaming by late September, when I give the keys back to the Housing Assosication & wave bye-bye to my independence & hello to life as a live-in partner (hopefully with some sort of ring on my finger by then too :j)

DS2 is a good Catholic boy & goes to Lourdes every year with the Liverpool Archdioscecan youth group, to trundle the sick pilgrims around the Grotto & to & from masses..... :A

Warrington....but leafy Cheshire suburbs sounds nicer! Will be changing to the Lancashire coastal residence soon ... Blackpool :rotfl:
