Yep, I can actually confirm that Barclaycard searched my Experian file this time too!!“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0

That's very perculiar indeed! I think you're the first ever person to report Barclaycard as searching experian!
No mate - I said to you before they search Experian - I have it on mine for Thomas Cook card....
Remember things change, you need to keep up to date - also, gone are the days where you can say XXX only searches XXX CRA - nowadays they are all searching any of the 3 as, they have a right to.Experian are never searched by Barclaycard in conjunction with an application.
Just so everyone's clear
Yes matey - Experian are used by Barclaycard!
Just so you're clear

in that case the "Who uses Who" thread needs updating.

Checked via who?
I'm happy to stand corrected if I see some evidence and I don't mean to suggest anyone is lying but possibly mistaken.
I've never experienced Barclaycard searching Experian. They never have with me, or my ex, or anyone else I know personally that I've referred on to them. Just EQ.
That includes applications made right up until this January

The who searches who thread is a guide mate, as I said the lenders have cottoned on and they now share between all 3 and this includes checking any of the 3.... Look at HSBC, for most internal lending they check CallCredit - yea, I wish!
The point is asking for proof does nothing cos it is fact - Barclays advertised last June or July that they'd broken from Equifax as preferred partners as 'a business need to evolve' - make of that whetever.
Unfortunately you're asking for proof of people a lot more knowledgeable than you in this field..... I told you a few months ago they searched me but couldn't be arsed arguing with the doubters - there were a few TBH.
Edit - IIRC I think it was CashFlow who told me they did and I argued with him until I found out the truth, that he was right, as I had a Barclays search of my own on my Experian ...

Okies, fair enough mate, I'm not trying to undermine anyone's knowledge or suggest anyone is lying, I just like to be confident in the information I'm taking on board before I put it back out there again

hehe - mate I just added on my last post, I done the exact same thing a while ago - I was sure it was CashFlow (maybe that was Crappy1 though) I can't remember - but then he was right, I was wrong - we all make mistakes mate.
I have some custard going if you want it - its left over from my humble pie experience :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
