My God, why do you all have so many? I've got two regular ones, and two sports bras. I've just thrown out three nursing bras that I don't need any more (and in any case they'd turned a perculiar shade of grey...)

I've got lots of colours and lots of different styles, some are comfy others are for wearing out.

That being said you cannot beat a nude coloured bra, sure they do not look all that but they are better for earing under white shirts and t-shirts than a white bra is. I'd recommend nude over white anyday!!

Blue monkey: Wish i had more of a closer relationship with brands such as freya. Where i work we seem so disjointed from the brand that you never know whats coming or what is available other than what we stock. It's a shame your market stall was overpowered by primark, everyone is really concerned with price and it always amazes my how much some women can spend on clothes but then when it comes to underwear (the most important thing) they wanna spend peanuts. Moan over!

Hi Vix, sorry for the delay, feel awful today and just cannot get myself motivated.

I was on an Eveden fitting course and almost everyone else there was from the different branches of Debenhams so your comment really surprised me.

I know what you mean, I'd rather have good bras and crap clothes to be honest - there is nothing worse than the fleeing of faling oout or everything not be strapped down properly.

I'd agree with the other posters. Wonderbras are ok for the odd occasion/outfit. Balcony bras seem to work best for me, as a B cup for most of my life.

I'm now a C, having gone from no boobs to saggy boobs! Balcony bras sort of collect them up and present at the best. :o

Have a look for a side support bra is you are saggy, they being everything from the side and while still balcony they give a more forward projection to lift up and out. They are quite new to the market, Fantasie do them as do Panache more recently. Worth a try-on if you are bra shopping again.

For someone looking for a lift I'd check out the new style Freya plunge bras as they give a really good shape, they plunge because they are lower cut but they do not put it all in your face so you cannot see your dinner. They have no padding and just give structure. The same style/cut as Freya Jolie.

oh i do like the balconette bra's :)
im pretty good with wearing the right size (i get measured quite often)
i think it's more a case of every time i put on weight it goes straight to my boobs then every time i loose it, it comes straight off them.
so rather than being that nice fullness, they are more like a ski slope shape. but then i guess thats how they are meant to be, i think (even though i always kinda moan at having big boobs) i miss having that big cleavage and oomph :D

on another note, im glad that they are starting to bring out prettier bra's for the more shapley girls, but i find i can only get a pretty looking bigger bra online, and i do kinda envy the girls who can walk into any shop and get a lovely bra at a fraction of the price!

Yes, I know what you mean, mine are the same shape. I like the Tango II, Freya Rio and also the Jolie so I would give that a try. The newer 'plunge' freya bras lift everything out, forward and up without any padding, just structure. I cannot explain just how well they fit and they give such a good shape as well, give one a try. I cannot get on at all without moulded foam bras or plunge bras such as Superboost or (as it used to be) inferno at all but these new Freya style ones are lovely and I think you might like those as you seem to be looking for the same sort as lift as me.

    HTH.

Yes, you are in the wrong sized bra. Go and get fitted somewhere that sells brands and not a High Street Store and buy something with some structure and support. High Street brands are useless for the larger bust. Really they are. You do not have to spend a fortune, get them on clearance somewhere.

I have a GG cup (creeping up to an H) and I do not suffer back pain from my boobs.

I was squashing them into a 38DD up until a few months ago
I got fitted in La Senza as one boob being FF and one G, and my back as 38.
Would it be a case of the cup being too small? They don't spill out at all over the top but it's not too big either, there's no room in there.
Where would you suggest I get fitted? M&S told me they only do back sizes now, no cup sizes!!!!

Something else to be aware of.

You used to be able to get Freya/Fantasie seconds on eBay and the labels would be marked, cut or it would be BNWOT as you could get them from the factory shop. Eveden have now changed their policy and you cannot do this, however, people have got around this by buying in bulk from the factory and selling them on. I know of one seller who has been chucked off eBay for consistantly selling incorrect sized bras so buyer beware!!

M&S no, they are useless too.

Do you have a Debenhams, John Lewis, Selfridges, Bravissimo or Independant near you? This is especially important in the larger sizes as a lot of High Street brand will 'fit' you into what they have, not what fits you. if you are getting back ache it is because your bust does not have the right support.

The thing is, if you get cheaper ones they use inferior materials and the bras do not have as much structure and a larger sized cup needs structure. To be honest, I could not size you in that bra that you have and offer any sort of guide because I do not trust La Senza sizings. Usually someone can tell me how a bra fits and I can give a gauge of the cup size they should be.

The one thing you could do is measure under your boobs, around your back, not riding up the back but going around - follow an invisible circle from unnderneath, and PM me this measurement if you ar enot happy posting on here and I'll see if I can help. The tape should be as tight as you can pull it without cutting yourself in half. :)

I'll be around some more tonight now but PM me and I'll tell you what I think you should be wearing. Those LS bras do not have the structure though and you need something that will hold you up well.
