how many bra's?

I personally think that they are not all that good for everyday wear, you need something that is cut a little higher - they also are not the best for support. They are what they are - the advertising tells you this - IYKWIM.
TBH, Oomphy and supportive, well fitting bra do not go all that well together. I'd never choose a wonderbra or Superboost bra when giving a fitting - this would be something the customer chooses afterwards as an additional purchase.0 -
Thanks had a look, but I'm after something more 'oomphy'. What do you think of Wonderbras etc? All that they're hyped up to be?
I know you are used to wearing plunge bras but have you thought of a balconette bra? They give everything a lift, shape it and push it up and rounded rather than together and forward.0 -
I personally hate wonderbra, their focus is creating a cleavage, but turn sideways and profile shape is awful! Plus their sizing is all over the shop, more so than others. They live off their heritage i think.
I personally like ultimo which has a lot of gel in. I always say people are either an ultimo girl or an atlantis girl. Im the former, atlantis just don't give me the mustard.
Blue monkey: Wish i had more of a closer relationship with brands such as freya. Where i work we seem so disjointed from the brand that you never know whats coming or what is available other than what we stock. It's a shame your market stall was overpowered by primark, everyone is really concerned with price and it always amazes my how much some women can spend on clothes but then when it comes to underwear (the most important thing) they wanna spend peanuts. Moan over!0 -
Thanks I will have a good look online tonightblue_monkey wrote: »I know you are used to wearing plunge bras but have you thought of a balconette bra? They give everything a lift, shape it and push it up and rounded rather than together and forward.

OK, I'll say it. Please do not waste your money on this gimmick, of course The Sun has reported Tesco have them because Tesco have paid them to say how great they are!!
Please spend you money on a good, well fitting bra - if yours are heading south and it feels like they are heading south, then your bra is not supporting them properly - you need get fitted.
I've fed 2 children and have a GG cup and mine are where they should be with a bra on. Go for a balcony bra with Side support (Fantasie Kara and Fantasie Elodie are good), or a balconette bra (Panache Tango II, Fantasie Anna - excellent and only £20-£24 depending on where you shop) and this will left everything into place.
If your boobs feel heavy and unsupported you are definately not in the right fit, as I say, I am a GG cup and they do not look that big, nor do they flop around as they are in a good bra.0 -

I'd agree with the other posters. Wonderbras are ok for the odd occasion/outfit. Balcony bras seem to work best for me, as a B cup for most of my life.
I'm now a C, having gone from no boobs to saggy boobs! Balcony bras sort of collect them up and present at the best.

oh i do like the balconette bra's
im pretty good with wearing the right size (i get measured quite often)
i think it's more a case of every time i put on weight it goes straight to my boobs then every time i loose it, it comes straight off them.
so rather than being that nice fullness, they are more like a ski slope shape. but then i guess thats how they are meant to be, i think (even though i always kinda moan at having big boobs) i miss having that big cleavage and oomph
on another note, im glad that they are starting to bring out prettier bra's for the more shapley girls, but i find i can only get a pretty looking bigger bra online, and i do kinda envy the girls who can walk into any shop and get a lovely bra at a fraction of the price! Can you see the mountains through the fog?0 -
Goodness what a great thread! I am totally into my lingerie ( definitely matching). I am not going to count how many sets I have but I can definitely say that I could set up my own stall!!. When I went on my DMP I had to go cold turkey, it was awful! But things are better now!!!
To all you London ladies, have you tried Benny Gee's on Kilburn High Road, it can be a bit hit and miss but you can get some great bargains. I always pop in when I am down south.
Pretty, lacy, sexy, make you look and feel great, and they dont hurt when you are were them like shoes.

I can't believe people have so many. I have three bras. One for work days, one for non-work going outside days and an old one for non-work staying indoors days. A Bravissimo bra is one month's spending money for me.0
