I too am suffering at the hands of TT!! I signed up in May and still have no broadband - I too "shiver" at the thought of ringing them again:mad:
I can only agree with others that I too have had the exact same treatment!
Is there no other regulatory board that will take up our case???? I really dont know where to turn to - apart from contacting BT and asking them to take me back so i dont have to contact them anymore.
Signing with TT is the worst thing Ive EVER done!0 -
Can you please explain to me why you do not take them to the small claims court?0

That is part of my question. On what grounds? I cant just go to the Small Claims Court and say, 'I want my disconnection money back'.
Really need advice on how to approach this correctly please??I may be shy, but that doesn't make me an angel0 -
I have gone in to all the detail of my successful claim on this site, IT WAS SO EASY, they paid the £550 and then gave me £20 of this months bill, and as previously stated will do it again if the service falls short of exceptable standard.0

Yes, sounds very very familiar. Am still with them just.... and this is only about the 4th time since 13th October I have been able get online. Taking the opportunity to get online whilst I can.
Initialy started off very promising..disc and modem arrived B4 time on 4th August and set up was dead simple.....but since upgrading local exchange to 8MB have had a non-existent service. Utter incompetence and customer service appalling. You get put through to the Indain call centre, appology let me put you on hold...etc..etc please call this number... line hangs up.
Hope Mr Dunstone sorts it out soon as I will be off.0 -
Hi there
Does anone have a phone number for high level complaints. A friend of mine has signed up to this outfit and was promised all sorts but after 2 hours being passed from pillar to post and a bucket of tears.
I told her to email DunstC@cpwplc.com and cdunstone@cpw.co.uk but she has no access to internet so needs a contact number to lodge complaint.
If anyone has one i would gladly pass it on to her.
Cheers

Just had to request my 3rd MAC code as they havent used it yet!
Recieved 2 modems a fortnight ago though!
1 hour on the phone tonight- 30+ mins to a 10p per minute line ( the advisor didn't know it was)
They also cut me off from my landline having failed to process a payment last month and calls to confirm the payment had gone through.
Sick to death of Indian call centres and the lack of notes or communication
Told the guy in India tonight that if we (the company I work for) gave customer service like I'd recieved from them- we'd have been shot!!
He went silent and I had to explain that it was a saying!
Not literally!!
I have had to pay 3 extra months to my old provider
I'm at my wits end- just complained to Ofcom and to their head office:A 17/10/07-Started Rosemary Conley :ATotal loss so far= 4 stone 7lbs!In the magazine Sept 08:T0 -
hi all,
ive been.... wait for it....... having massive problems with talk talk! i hear the shouts of surprise and shock!
its been 8 months now, and not even a snifter of being connected. we've diagnosed the problem as being a fault with the telephone exchange (or thats what talk talk says.) i can connect to the exchange, but theres a failure from teh exchange to talk talks network. talk talk says theyve told bt about teh fault but its been months of me phoning talk talk and they say they'll get bt to look at it but its been 8 months!!!!!!
does anyone know a number for bt that deals with the connection or something so that i can say "spend 30 seconds flicking the switch for my house from off to on!!!!!!". ive been told that bt are reluctant to help talk talk in any way because tt are ,in effect, taking business away form bt.
can someone help?
many thanks.0 -
Have you checked the modem and any other equipment associated with your set up? I spent weeks talking to various departments at Virgin when i first set up broadband. They were adamant that it was a problem at bt's end. After two bt engineer visits it transpired that the modem virgin had supplied was faulty.0

yes, i think its all fine. if it was a faulty modem then maybe i wouldnt even be able to get through to the telephone exchange?0
