Bit of a trek to York, but it doesn't seem that hard by train. Do we have any flyladies living in York? Or anyone who knows if it's fairly easy to get from the station to the uni?

I live in a uni town, and there are frequent buses here at all times of night and day, so I'm guessing it's no different. I have googled it, but that's just not the same as flylady info!

    Hi,
My kids dad was a student at York. He reliably informs me that there is a very regular bus service from the station to the uni.
    QUOTE]

Same as what Molly says but I have done some OU courses that use York St John as the examination centre and that's in the city centre, just thought it was worth mentioning :D. Hope you have an enjoyable day.

    *crawls in pooped*
did an overnight wash, left that out all day with instructions for it to be brought in, so have ironed it. DS now has clean trousers *ROLLEYES* he'll have to wait until tomorrow for clean shirts.
DD has brought home costume bits, needs names sewing in stuff, costume bits finishing off and she reliably informs me they want her to look 'like a prostitute' because they are asking her to wear a choker *SHRUG* and a fringe on her bum...
I am not the world's most confident stitcher when it comes to fancy (and expensive) fabrics...*trembles* but I can no longer sew in artificial light.
    Opticians tomorrow.
And I go to pay for my sofas and, hopefully, find out when they'll be here.

Just waiting for some bedding to come out of the TD and then I'm off to bed myself I think.

I've half finished everything I've been pottering at since I started at 7.00pm. The other half can wait until tomorrow.

Catch you all in the morning.
    Nite xx

Boohooo Valli's home, that means I have to go to work in the morning :(

Although I haven't done much round here this week so perhaps I would be better off at work!

Have heard from toots, she is doing ok and has managed to get a bed with a good view out of the window. Treatment is coming along ok :)
